Just watched them side by side, it's definitely a lot better. All the colors in the new one are much better defined, while everything in the original just kinda blended together in a bright mess.
As I was watching the new footage, I was actually growing to like the aesthetic quite a bit. Still not perfect imo, but it looks good and it's added to my hype.

Well they should go back to that because, to me anyway, the color grading is much better. Maybe something in between the two would be a good compromise, because the new look is on the verge of giving me a headache. But I think it's mostly that hot pink material.

But there's No mario coins (they will have a mental breakdown if you say shiny objects are the same thing), no YAHOO WAHOO, no yoshi eggs, no zelda items or kokiri forest, no fire emblem waifus to ogle at, no goombas or waddle dees or kremlings, no rosterfaggotry to be had, no pokemon creatures to fetch, just spongebob and tikis.
