How is this game?

>make people pay you through patreon to play shitty unfinished game
>update the game once every 6 months with the minimum amount of content
>release it on steam still unfinished while also still keeping it on patreon to double the income
>make people pay another 30 dollars when it actually is finished
>not even counting the first project they did which was a massive scam that got annihilated

What happened with that shit anyway? I see people mention it but no one actually says what went down.

Just one big scam. They saw how much money they were making through patreon and got lazy. As an example; one year of the amount of money they got was enough to retire for the rest of their lives. The guy "leading" the team making it was just an ideas guy with nothing else to offer. At some point he had personal issues with some family member dying, possibly just bullshit. After that their "leader" was no longer producing "ideas" for the animators and coders to work with, so they sat around doing nothing for months getting paid and basically waited to see if people would start asking questions. At that point they already had a scapegoat, the "leader". They could easily point the blame on him not doing anything to help and not producing "ideas" for them to work on. In reality literally nothing was stopping them from just continuing work, they just got lazy and it was very apparent even before anything happened that they were getting lazier and lazier. What astounds me is how they actually got away with making yet another patreon for a new game. How did no one ask "why dont you just use the millions you got from your last game to continue working on something new?"

Just refunded it because I was reaching the 2h limit and I had seen zero porn. Literally why would I pay for this when there are better RPGs and farming simulators out there? No wonder they made more money with Breeding Season.

I remember that, and that they used the inactivity of the ideas guy as an excuse to steal the assets of Breeding Season to use them in Cloud Meadow

They made more money with breeding season because it came first. After everything that happened obviously a lot of people aren't going to trust them anymore with their money, and they were right. Theyre literally doing the exact same thing they did with breeding season.

If youre looking for gameplay alone then cloud meadow is the better choice, but not by much since its still not even a game. Theyre focusing more on the gameplay than the hentai aspect with cloud meadow, which is why theres only like 10 sex scenes that happen once.

the artist is the same, he basically killed BS by dropping out of the project and then refusing to let them use any of the art he'd made for it. then he found some new devs who apparently didn't know his reputation. BS wasn't the first time he'd done this either.

there was a massive backlog of art that wasn't getting done, the basic game was essentially complete, they were just adding side areas and quest givers, flavour shit, and waiting for all the variations of race x gender x partner animations to be made, which wasn't getting done, then the artist bailed and said 'ps you can't use any of the existing art now lol' and the idea guy had a tantrum and released everything by giving hints to what their private asset bank's password was.

The only new devs he got were coders. The rest of the team aka artists and animators joined him in his Jewish crusade

Not that I'd defend the guy but I can see why he'd have a tantrum. The team behind BS was a bunch of conmen.

it fell to it's own ambition. idk if you ever saw the early versions but it was a typical newgrounds game with absolute ass art but an actually pretty solid (for a porn game) game basis. five races, 2 male, 3 female, for a whopping 6 animations. then they said 'let's have lesbo animations' then gay ones too, so now you've got 25 potential anims. then the breeder gets their own, so 30. oops, we're gonna have different animations for harvesting, now 35. hey, what if we had genderbent versions of each race? so effectively double the races but oh, they have to have anims with each other as well as the old races, and why not add x on x instead of everything being x on y so now the number of animations is exponentially increasing instead of doubling, and then they started adding new races, and it became a pipe dream, which they still could have coasted on and kept their supporters happy by shitting out a few animations a month for a very long time, but the artist got lazy and greedy.

So literally every game company in existence then?
