This was the best Smash roster. You had a shitload of characters, but not so many that it felt ridiculous. You had good representation and the roster was generally balanced, Meta Knight notwithstanding.

>no duck hunt

It's also in a perfect rectangle.

No one cares pleb just play the damn game and shut up.

Ultimate's clearly the best, the balance was terrible and much more interesting is which game had the best additions.

Even as a casualfag I knew Meta Knight was broken.

>ice climbers
>diddy
>olimar

Brawl definitely wasnt balanced.

>brawl balanced
>a bigger roster feels 'ridiculous'
lol
also go back and play brawl, the movement is fucking disgusting. trying to be mobile on the ground is a nightmare.

Aside from balancement issues, rosters only get better when they get bigger, since you can simply ignore the characters you don't want without being a manchild.

brawl was shit zoomer

>3 Star Fox characters in varying degrees of clone status
Fags will get mad, but Sakurai should have dropped Falco and put in Krystal. That way you have both of the most-requested newcomers for SF represented and you gain a new playstyle instead of Blaster/Dash/UpDash/Reflect for the third fucking time.

What do zoomers have to do with anything?

>not mentioning Meta Knight

over a decade later and scrubs on Yea Forums still think characters are clones based on their special moves

Agreed. Current roster in Smash Ultimate is too bloated. Too many 3rd Parties, FE shilling, etc.

Hoping that the next game in the next 10 years will be a reboot. 35-40 characters max, focus on new modes/content and refining gameplay.

It's perfect

THIS IS BRAWL.

KRYSTAL CAN'T ENJOY IT.

Tripping.

One problem

I wonder what they would have looked like in the more realistic Brawl grit?

Who knows, I used to not like brawl's realistic style but its grown on me since it was more of like an identity thing, Melee's style was futuristic and computery, brawl's was ancient looking had a ruins like feel, smash 4 had a cartoony artstyle, everything about ultimate doesn't really have a style
