Total Annihilation. I wish I still had a CRT, 4:3 is way comfier for RTS than modern shit.
devil may cry 1 and 3
Nice one.
I prefer Zesteria unironically but Berseria is quality
final fantasy 7
Always perfect, truly timeless.

Mass Effect. Tali still the best waifu btw.
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

Sims 2 was the last good Sims game.
God those huge fucking maps with max players and barbarians. Totally worth it
Gothic 1 and 2
I'm not sorry.
Gunplay was solid, and I can count the amount of direct upgrades on one hand.
Higher difficulties are punishing, but if you learn how to utilize items and ammo types they're a fair challenge.
Driving was a little slippery, but outside of piss-easy races you're mostly moving in straight lines.
The world building had an amazing Mad Max-esque style mixed with futurism that reminded me of early Fallout games.
Up until the third act the story is an outright Spaghetti Western.
I can definitely see the flaws, but it feels good to empty rockets into an airship after nailing some poor fucker's brain to the wall.
Tales of Symphonia
>mfw the only id Software game I've every played is Wolfenstein 3D
well played user
I dropped the game after getting reminded to buy a dlc when i passed by a fucking sewer entrance.
Maybe gonna finish it in future.
Artificial Academy 2
Good taste, to this day I love the zoo level.
Easy mode.
>Nox
>Sim City 2K
Excellent. Have you ever played Rage of Mages?
Refined taste. I should pick this up again, I loved upgrading my wrench.
Best DLC in the Elder Scrolls.
Here's mine, just got it to run on my XP machine: Rage of Mages II: Necromancer
The sewer DLC isn't all that worth it. Just some quick mini-dungeons with some decent loot. Scorcher is pretty good, though; you end up fighting an airship in what looks like an Aztec ruin.
FFX
Morrowind (modded and unmoderated)
>Not playing DOOM or Quake
Replayed it last year, still love it to death.
Imagine thinking you're allowed an opinion when you like weeb games and Elder Scrolls.
sup
Secret of the magic crystal
My man.
Replayed it a couple of months ago and saved all the mudokons. Still a masterpiece and it pains me so much that it will forever be stuck on a shitty resolution
>shitty resolution
Tried this?
>pcgamingwiki.com
Or there is always New'n'Tasty :)
Super Metroid.
>playing absolute garbage with ZERO story
Imagine thinking you're a gamer.
Sure, but Sims 4 is the best 3d sex game made so far
the castlevania games on ps2
i played RE4 a couple of weeks ago after having not played it in about 10 years. still an amazing game.
>calls himself gamer
>cares about shit that isn't GAMEplay
>10 years
this will never not hurt me
Yeah, ive seen it, but the problem is that the game assets are stuck in that low resolution, sprites, backgrounds and everything. So even if you upscale it, it doesnt fix the problem.
New n tasty is kinda shit. It fucks up a ton of the artstyle which is a disgrace for a game like Oddworld.
I tried playing it on release and then right before Rage 2 came out.
Dropped it both times half way through. It was just boring.
Dropped Rage 2 as well, while we're at it.
Sins of a Solar Empire
E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy
Any games of this fucker
They are so good...
but the ending is so sad user
I'll never understand this, RE4 is what killed my desire to play RE till these Remakes started coming out.
Reignited is nice too but the original Spyro will always be one of my favorites.
Mount and blade warband
Stellaris
Rimworld
Guaranteed comfy no matter what. At least for me
whats a good tales game then? berseria was great imo
>liked the characters
>liked the berserk ripoff
>cool 15yo oc edgy arm
FFX
No other game comes close to this perfection, no matter what genre
>tfw dropped the game literally in the final volcano area
>still don't know why
This game is unironically good. I recommend it!
I'm also 100000000% sure that portal 2 got its idea for aerial faith plates from this game's Spongify pads
Freelancer
Half-Life 2.
Yea Forums kept shitting on it so much I started reversing my memories of how good it was.
But then one day, I had just finished a run of Half-Life, Blue Shift and Opposing Force, and I made the jump to 2.
Jesus fucking christ it's so fucking good and so fucking fun.
Rage 2 was absolute shit. They turned it into Bulletstorm with a magenta apocalypse paintjob.
metroid prime
>Why do you like football?
>"Duuuurrrr, foot kicks ball, ball goes in net, then people scream and I scream with them, yey!"
How fucking underdeveloped is your brain?
Read a book, faggot.
man of real taste here
Literally nothing you say has value.
Vagrant story and valkyrie profile
Based
Wild Arms 3
>implying anything you say does
>implying anything posted here at all does
so you watch football for the plot?
Plus Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Myth: The Fallen Lords. Still the best use of physics in any strategy game.
I enjoy Lego Island 2 because it's the holy grail of bad coding. Like holy shit, this game is so poorly designed it should be used as an example in vidya design courses. For example, the infamous long load times are caused by the loading screen itself being poorly coded - it has something to do with the game updating the pizza spinning animation between loading tiny amounts of data. Then there's also the fact that any repeated asset is not the same asset being reused - rather, the files themselves are copypasted, so every tree etc. is a unique file. The biggest example of this is the asteroid minigame which instead of using 3 files for each asteroid type it loads over 200 unique files for each asteroid model. I'm amazed, this kind of shit shouldn't even happen under time constrains.
Now were talking
My nigga
my negro. also turok 2
this shits all over Patrician IV
Kirby Air Ride.
>I've never played game/s
>"YOU'RE FUCKING RETARDED"
See that shit?
That's you.
Even if you're right, you're still below everyone here. Which is incredibly fucking sad.
Old crash games, the opposite would be the old Spyro games which just aren't that interesting
>can't understand simple metaphors
Thief 1/2
System Shock 2
Deus Ex
BioShock 1
Freespace, but I'm cheating with FS2O
I wouldn't call it shit, the combat was fun even though it was far removed from the feel of the original. It was repetitive and the dialogue was far worse than the original.
>Rage of Mages
Never even heard of it. Will add it to the to-do list. Thanks user.
Dungeon keeper 2
There has never been another contender for the throne of dungeon sim.
Halo 2 and Duke 3D
RE4
Mirror’s Edge
Deadrising
me too bro

Why don't they give us this much variety anymore?
HL2 has become the game everyone shits on to look cool. It's almost underrated now.
Tony Hawk's Underground
Does it really hold up that well? I've been thinking about replaying it again. But its been nearly 20 years since i last played it.

Anything I enjoyed made before 2000
No One Lives Forever
loved playing this as a kid
i bet i could actually get the game finished if i played it now lol
The graphics are dated as fuck, the PC version glitches out over the stupidest shit and has the stupidest fixes due to it trying to run on Windows 10, and the combat is pretty simple/easy and the hard parts are easily cheesable, but I always replay it every few years and then binge on to 2. It was the last Star Wars media I consumed and thoroughly enjoyed in my life.
Same, though I prefer the second game and it's remake of the first campaign
