I'd agree with you but the mod that lets you see the stars of recruits is a lifesaver. Not having to spend thousands of gold sifting through garbage for viable lategame bro's is so nice
I also dont really begrudge this user for that impression because i had the exact same one, i only tried it because a friend recommended it, the art style really grew on me though, wouldnt have it any other way

If you use the Lone Wolf start you can actually use your character, it even ends the campaign if you die.

It does feel early access as fuck but the one thing it does mostly right is ambushes and pack hunting. The actual combat is dogshit but setting up a fight in the isle can be 10/10.
