i tried the first one a couple of days ago. I dropped it after 2 hours because i hate turned based combat.
I regret buying the 3ds, i only got it for fe and monster hunter, but all the best fe games are on other systems and monster hunter got old quick.

It seems that if you not into first party nintenkiddy stuff or generic turn based jrps, that the system isn't that great.

Bravely is unironically one of the best turn-based JRPGs ever. Try the early Final Fantasy games if you want other good turn-based games.
I also recommend Megami Tensei (and everything under it including Persona).

I recomend you sell your 3ds because you have terrible taste

The zoomer hates turn-base combat. I doubt their ADHD will let them sit through the early FF games

The DS and 3DS library is like the SNES library on steroids. If you don't care for the general snes library then a kaio-ken 20x version is probably not going to be your cup of tea.

I'm not a zoomer, i have just played so many games in my life I am just sick and tired of the same old song and dance time after time. Especially with nintendo, how many new super marios do we need? How many Pokemons do we need? How many zeldas?

I suppose i did get my moneys worth though. I liked fe conquest for gameplay and map design even though the rest of it was a garbage fire
Cave story eshop was good
and smash 4 was a guilty pleasure

plus i play gba and genesis games on it

Nintendo only innovates in gimmicks alone.

I love strategy/tatics games. Loved the gba titles, loved Fe4, and liked tatics ogre. I just hate the combat of turned based rpgs. I like how you can approach challenges in those games and it isn't just having a higher number and knowing the matchup, its the positioning and long term game that matters.
my problem isn't patience, its that most turn based jrpgs have a shallow gameplay loop. I can play EUIV for ever and that game is a slow map simulator.
What are some of your favorite 3ds games that typically don't make the usual top ten lists?

If they make a sequel, will it be called Bravely Second 2?
Or Bravely Default 2 second?

The DS library in particular was great, lots of really experimental titles.
