It was a success by FromSoftware’s standards but let’s not go nuts here. I’d bet far more people played it when it was offered as a PS Plus game compared to people that actually bought it outright.

Given that Bloodborne was an obscure game by a fairly obscure developer released early in the PS4's lifespan it was a massive success that it sold that well. For a major first-party Nintendo release to barely outsell it however is not good.
