They at least got that right. The more ‘weightier’ gameplay choices make PvP a lot more interesting, can’t say the same for the PvE - which is a damn shame with all the replayability they put in it.
I’m doubt he wanted either sequel to exist at this point, considering he straightup had to apologize for DS3 and the few times where DS3 takes the piss out of DS2.
We can also just look at the fact that the DS1 ending choices exist.

You already said that here and pretty much just agrees. DS3’s overall ‘let it fucking die’ message while pointing out the silliness of DS2 are probably the highlights.
I pretty much don’t expect a whole lot from their Bamco games these days, but I get to look forward to the better games they’ll allow FromSoft to fund.
