"Old school runescape"
the GE which marks the transition into efficiencyscape is like the peak symbol of why mmo's died out as a genre in general internet culture
just stand around for hours like a retard, bro
If you're still playing it after 2015 you're a fucking faggot tbqh.
Yes.
If the GE wasn't added the players would have made a website for it, it was inevitable. Being hung up on your retarded fantasy of walking around varrock west is just exposing you as a casual.
t. RSC and RS2 vet
Yes
Those trade websites like Zybez and the marketplace on the RS forums are a world apart from the built-in, all-in-one supermarket that is the GE. If you actually played the game you'd know this.
>just make all skills useless and concentrate evrything on slayer and bossing bro
sounds good to me
You're missing the point. Everyone was already depersonalizing trading and using mules to bankstand. No one was sitting there and spamming flash2 buying lobbies on a main unless you were a dumb kid, aka most of Yea Forums who played rs2.
There already were websites for it like Zybez and the forums, newfag. Having that extra layer of interaction was good.
>Was wrong and lying about being a "vet"
>Makes up more lies to cover for himself
just stop talking
Despite the poopsockers who did that it's not just the World 1/2 trading that the GE affected but also worldwide trading on a casual level, and also the usage of most banks and formerly-populated areas. Even up to the point where they dumped the trading post and unleashed the GE update I was able to spend all of my time flipping bulk items with tons of players I'd find through the traditional methods (and trading post). The GE invalidated that big time because now anyone who needed a fairly obscure quest requirement item or a ton of runes/arrows/whatever for a decent price would just run off and buy them from the GE from thousands of sellers whose inventories were combined (the trade limit didn't really do much to stop them when they could passively buy them without even being logged in).
>no, instead of following the commentary on a dedicated community that is showing enthusiasm for the product let's just listen to a bunch of memespouting contrarian autists who cry about their political boogeymen everytime they don't like something
real big think here
NOOOOO I DON'T WANNA PLAY AN MMO AND DO DEALINGS WITH PEOPLE I JUST WANNA GO TO THE GRAND EXCHANGE AND BUY EVERYTHING INSTANTLY FROM BOTS WHO DRIVE THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING DOWN SO I CAN GET BACK TO PLAYING MY GLORIFIED SINGLE PLAYER GAME
The community is full of redditors who don't actually want what is good for the game but what fits their personal agenda
>Death still having virtually no penalty
>PKing updates always shot down because their wives get fucked by pures every night
>Ugly ass graphical style that clashes with the old style
>Everything is instanced and anything below 2m/hour profit is dead content
not him, but you're a nigger.
t. him
then go and complain there, faggot
I remember having my own fish shop listed on the official forums before GE. Good times.
>play ironman
>dont give a fuck about updates
There. I solved your problem.
Just dance at the GE with your discord tranny boyfriends before farming skill pets and doing the same 3m gp/hr instanced bosses all day, wow so much fun and encapsulates everything I think when I think of 2000s runescape
>complain on reddit
>get downvoted into oblivion or banned by the cuck mods, as is standard practice on the website
its almost like you don't understand why everyone here hates that place
lol
that image just seems upset with the lack of spikes attached to everything
