Doom 3 OST was much better than this nu-metal crap.
Yea, all one song of it
>le unoriginal djent riffs that make normies go pic related
That one song is better than all of the nu-doom crap combined.
Imagine being this fucking contrarian, and this is coming from someone who actually likes Doom 3.
00's Marilyn Mason RE theme sounding ass
Quake 2 comes close
>wojack poster
No, not really
I can't remember a single track from doom. Was just generic autistic heavy metal. That awards show where they played live was so laughable.
>That awards show where they played live
The one with the repeated crowd_cheer.wav?
wub wub djent is badass
I'm currently enjoying this one:
>youtube.com
Both are good tho.
I'll be honest OP, I don't like Doom's OST. I was hoping to be heavy metal and not this industrial metal kind of thing.
I prefer if it was more Slayer like and such. For me it would fit the mood much better (outside the down time).
What is it with you mentally ill zoomers that makes you desperately latch on to a series that has nothing to do with you? You're doing the same thing with having sex
someone had to say it and i'm gald you did, user
>DOOM OST
Are you fucking 12, OP?
He's for sure fucking 12 years old
While I was expecting a thing along the lines that you posted, the music still got me going, I enjoyed for the game. Never heard any of it outside though, not my taste.
I wish more people could discuss here like you user.
Music us fine game wise
I mean that shit is fucking awesome while shooting some demons but c'mon
People who listen to it unironically need to get better taste
What the fuck did I just read?
>posts a picture of Pokémon
im right you fag
I just hope there's more actual songs in Eternal. BFG Division was a good start, and I like what I've heard of the OST so far, but I swear to god if it ends up devolving into industrial slurry again... Like, yeah, I get that the music is dynamic and reacts to what you do which took a lot of fucking effort to pull off, but that doesn't mean it doesn't need melody. The majority of songs are completely forgettable.
And it especially sucks because the heavy industrial style's got potential, as the Doom 4 Vanilla soundtrack shows:
It fits the game and that's what matters. Same with OSTs like Metal Gear Revengeance.

This literally could have been a Fear Factory song.
>nu-metal
You don't know what that means.
I just know that it's gay
>namefag affirming the statement of a soijak poster
Well... Yeah.
kys fag
whoA HO HO HA HA GA wOAH HAHHH HA HA HA
Gta IV: the lost and damned.
Yeah that's me and your mom
Quake 2's OST is the best ever made.
Shame it was wasted on one of the most average games ever made.
Great minds think alike
youtube.com
It's unreal how fucking good this game is.
Too bad that deranged fag on the drawthread ruined it for everyone
The soundtrack sounds nice from a first glance. What's the game about?
pretty sure its a doom clone
First game is about you fighting off an alien invasion on a deep space colony ship from Earth while an insane AI who's going rampant (Halo and Marathon used to be the same universe before they decided otherwise) fucks with everyone, and then another AI goes crazy too and starts fighting the first AI before joining the aliens. Meanwhile you, a highly illegal combat cyborg who thinks he's just a normal guard, kill the shit out of everything in your path, and you're so good at it that the first insane AI decides to kidnap you at the end of the game when he fucks off into deep space to have adventures and shit.
Which leads into the second game.
Actually, it uses a different engine. The Marathon Engine.
The games general setup?
>Local Security staff member's existence is pure suffering
lmao i like that
i hate when games make you the chosen one instead of just some guy
That guy on the drawthread ruined it, though.
Sad, because I have talked with him and he genuinely seems to like the series
There were maybe three times in my entire 8 or so hour playthrough that I actually noticed the music. The only times I actually noticed it was due to it being obnoxiously distracting and sounding like autotuned farts. This soundtrack is the absolute worst thing to ever come out of Mick Gordon's career which is a shame because Doom always had memorable soundtracks and the supposedly dynamic nature of nuDooms OST sounded impressive when it was being discussed prior to release.
One thing I really like about Marathon is that while you're fucking everything up on the ship singlehandedly, there's eleven other guys planetside doing the exact same shit.
based
Based.
Gamelets cant find a single flaw in eternal.

Eternals going to surpass d44m OST, mark my words
youtu.be
This is the greatest vidya, even puts most movies to shame
>mark my words
>says it after devs called 2016 underwhelming
>says it after 4 tracks have already been relased
>says it after mick admits it is better and diffrent
>says it after marketing team acknowledges that they took in lots of feedback
Well, this security staff member just so happens to be an amnesiac combat cyborg who thinks he's human. Still not a destined chosen one, though.
Y'know, I was planning on playing this. What makes it good?
There are a lot of schizoids on this site. You'll see them pop up from time to time.

This shits on anything from ZOOM and ZOOM eternal.
I don't want to spoil this game for you, it's best if you experience the game without knowing anything about it but i will say it has really cool weapons, captivating atmosphere, fantastic level design, intense fast paced combat, challenging boss fights, cool presentation and phenomenal soundtrack.
this guy fucks
I'm sorry but It's incredibly cringy.

Don't know about "badass" but the Far Cry 5 OST was pure gold.

This game OST was made for retarted fags
I really wish they leaned more in the rock direction for At Doom's Gate.

It's not bad by any means, and obviously it did a lot for Doom 2016's reputation, but I just wasn't feeling it like I feel a good ol' Doom metal re-imagine. As for the rest of the soundtrack, the ambient tracks are nice, but to be honest I don't think I've ever heard a bad ambient song in my life so that doesn't really count. Rip and Tear is really good, the rest of them are rather forgettable. I'd rather boot up Doom Metal Volume 5.

* blocks your path.
Absolutely amazing OST. The base levels had a looming dread / sense of urgency to the music. The battle music had a kinetic electronic feel to it. It was varied throughout the entire campaign.
Mike McCann is absolutely based and top of his game in vidya music.
I fucking love the 2016 ost but I do wish it were more melodic. I need something catchy, goddammit.

I wish F-Zero wasn't dead.
I unironically listen to this ost.

Everything about the soundtrack somehow manages to perfectly capture that old school beat 'em up vibe.
Ace Combat 7

SHAME
Also, the deployment OST was hype af:

No idea why they didn't rehire McCann for XCOM2 but at least the legacy OST was good:

Came here to post this.
