literally nothing would change.
The hardware would be way overpriced
No. Apple is desperate with their shitty iCade but they will always be behind windows in terms of graphical power due to its lack of graphic card drivers. Their portable games are under powered and an android tablet can run laps around an iDevice when it comes to basic games. If apple bought nintendo, nothing would change, but less people would probably buy their games since a Japanese company sold out to an American Company. They would kill a lot of their fan base.

It already is.
>but they will always be behind windows in terms of graphical power due to its lack of graphic card drivers. Their portable games are under powered
Seems like a good for Nintendo who has never been pushingg
I thought apple was buying sony?
The GameCube was leaps and bounds ahead of the PS2, yet didn't sell shit. That's why Nintendo decided graphics didn't matter when developing the Wii
Western companies cannot buy out Japanese companies because of Japanese law
Sweet! Source?
>Apple
>buying anything
After Jobs died, the only thing left in that dead company are a bunch of suits too dumb to make tech that can match Microsoft's. That's why their marketing team is at full throttle doing underhanded ultra-capitalist gangster style scams to keep the company afloat.
ok then
apple can make a new company in japan and have it "buy out" western apple and nintendo
Imagine Sony if they multiplied.
That's what apple buying Nintendo would be like.
Microsoft phones flopped
Zune flopped
Windows vista and 8 flopped
Xbox one flopped
Surface books have not sold super well vs Apple
Windows RT flopped
Halo flopped
Gears flopped.
Apple's last flop was in the 90s you have no idea what you're talking about.
They can but companies over a certain age aren't allowed to be bought.
In other words western companies could buy out Sony and Capcom but not Nintendo because its over 100 years old.
>Apple's last flop was in the 90s
The homepod was two years ago.
Apple are rumored to buy Sony though
thewellesleynews.com
because all "apple car" rumours turned out true, right?
iPhone X flopped, retard.
>Apple makes a console
>it breaks easily
>can't fix it because proprietary parts
>"just buy a new one."
>"what? too poor?"
>Nintendo is over a 100 years old
>mario 1 came out in like 1985
ok
when has a company buying another company ever been good for the consumer?
>if the iController's batteries die you have to buy a new one
They didn't always make games retard, they were founded in the 1800s.
Bait
it removes confusing options from the marketplace and brings us a step closer to having a coke and pepsi for everything :) .
based if tru e
Wow, I never even heard of it until this post.
Holy shit that thing.
Impressively stupid on every front.
No, hardware would get a massive downgrade since it would run iOS and use AMD chips over Nvidia, price would be around 1k, same 32gb onboard but no microsd slot only extra memory is cloud subscription
The switch would cost 500$ under apple.
>Would this be good for gaming?
no and you are a fucking retard if you think otherwise. apple knows nothing about games.
>500$
sure user, more like 799$ and 249$ more for the dock
Nintendo has tried to be creative the way they handle gaming, which is what apple lack since jobs die. Now they would simply recycle what is trend and sell you the brand over the product which with so many loyalist it wouldnt be a problem
So many things these companies did that they werent allowed thanks to loopholes
LOL
user...its 2035
for me, it's samsung. the best phone megacorp
No.
Fuck that they would run it into the ground and make everything pozzed as fuck
>literally nothing changes
They used to make playing cards you fuckstick
>would a company with the most retarded business practices buying a company with the 2nd most retarded fanbase be bad
>would it be bad that your switch costed 1500usd be bad
>would it be bad if your switch broke after warranty ends and fixing costed 1600usd
Why would nintendo allow a buyout anyway? Do people not know how much they got in the bank?
If you consider gaming to be soulless. Then yes!
You have to be 18 to post here
Oversimplification.
The PS2 came with a built in DVD player, which was a good deal at the time. It also came out a good deal before GCN and Xbox.
The Xbox also was the most powerful overall, and popularized the growing console FPS market.
The GCN was great, but it wasn't really able to carve out its own niche with the more casual consumers at the time, who went after games like GTA and Halo.
I would be more comfortable with this if Steve was still alive, but that doesn't really make that much more comfortable with the thought.
The apple pencil even with the base ipad is not only the most affordable portable drawing tab but also one of the best
Then once you compare the pro or even the air the difference between competitors leads apple far ahead
No surface or 3rd party product with Wacom tech tacked on compares. Especially if they try to be at similar prices
The only edge surfaces had over iPads was that they came with the pen and could run an actual operating system
But now the pens are sold separately (and are still expensive despite the tech no changing)
And now iPad iOS has all it's apps optimized for it's system
Optimization > variety
Can't be any worse than nintendo is now.
Apple Chads have been removed from suicide watch.
If the switch is a great companion system to people with powerful gaming rigs
The iPad is a great companion to creators with an powerful editing/art system
All other Android based drawing tabs are like the psvita in comparison
And windows 10 based drawing tabs are "gaming PCs"
It depends on the industry too. I'm pretty sure tech companies aren't allowed to be bought in general
>charger port is in the grip so you can't play and charge at the same time
>Halo
>Gears of War
>"flop"
you have a very strange definition of "flop", user
Both are uberjews, nothing would change.
Apple can't afford them
