Depends on the kind of person you are. If I didn't sink 300 hours into VR shooters, I'd be fed up with VR after 200 hours according to my Steam.
Some people have thousands of hours in said shooters, or thousands of hours in VRChat/sims.
If you're burnt out on video gaming as a whole, VR will eventually just be another genre of video games you're tired of.
