I never liked Rock Band but that one took over for like a year then also faded off.

Passed it on expert after that I think I just stopped playing Guitar Hero games altogether good times though really defined most of my late 2000's gaming along with CoD

The best Rock Bands were 2 and The Beatles anyways. Spent so many hours playing those two games back in high school. Then RB3 came out and it seems that's where the series just flat lined. And then it was buried for good with RB4.

This one's on the devs. You can find great bands that no one knows so it'd be cheap to get them, but the tracks after GH3 and even GH3 to some extent were getting lamer and lamer; they had shitaste for music.

Those segments were always a motherfucker to do in Guitar Hero but came much easier in Rock Band. Which is strange since RB note windows were normal and GH note windows could fit a Boeing 737.

I used to love Guitar Hero back in the day with 2 being my favorite. I am curious though, have any of you tried to get good at other rhythm games or do you just play Clone Hero? I stopped playing altogether when my guitar controller broke.

I have a World Tour guitar, GH5 guitar, and my old PS2 GH2 guitar but the strum bars on all of them have shit the bed on me, they hardly lasted more than half a year or so, other than the PS2 guiatr. That one lasted a long time before it finally kicked the bucket.
I'm using an RB4 guitar instead and its lasted a long time for me, but I'd like to be able to use my old guitars since the RB4 guitar has an issue with input delay. Are there any replacement strumbar switches that are more durable than the OEM parts out there?

Looks like? Try playing the game before assuming things. Score can either be determined by accuracy or combo in Taiko. You have the option to choose.

It's not, Taiko is completely sight readable. Osu is dogshit because it isn't, you literally just have to grind songs until you memorise the layout like a fucking shitter.

I have like 5 guitar hero/rock band controllers lying around. I know for a fact three have broken switches in them and the other two are rock band guitars so they have that shitty strum bar. I guess the George Beatles Rock Band guitar I have is in the best condition.

Also, I loved the drums in RB so much I bought custom drum heads and kick pedals for it that cost like $200. But I don't think any game supports drums like a Clone Hero.
