Am I the only one who finds the orb bodies interesting game designs? If you think about it shaping every PC to be a humanoid isn't really necessary, especially when the characters themselves are robots. Obviously since violent video games are going to be inspired by actual war, they'll model characters from soldiers in real life, but when you ad fantasy/sci-fi into the mix human bodies become less necessary. Look at QC, Quake takes place in a very expansive universe but all the PCs are either humans or humanoids. If people want a "pure" arena FPS, this is as pure as it can get. By making the PCs just balls it removes all problems that humanoids come with.

I guess what I'm saying is, please add a Cacodemon to QC. he can hold the gun in his mouth, and he'll float but be able to fit through small windows and such. His active abilities is shooting lost souls like a pain elemental, similar to Keel's grenades.
