So Bloodstained announced that they're scrapping the 'Roguelike' mode promised in the Kickstarter and replacing it with a Randomizer mode.

On one hand, a Randomizer is probably going to be a million times more fun than any roguelike shit. On the other, this is just scrapping a Kickstarter goal and replacing it with something entirely different. Thoughts?
this game is terribly optimized, it ran like crap on my pc, but now i upgraded it and i can't wait to playas soon as i finish demon souls
I'm fine with it because it's preferable to a roguelike mode, at least they're actually talking about some of those updates the game should have had already anyway. Maybe I'd be more upset if I actually contributed to the Kickstarter though.

When I played this I had a shit tier intel cpu I bought in 2013 and a fucking 970, and it worked flawlessly. That was on launch, too. Are you perhaps playing on a laptop?

Bitch pls. If they can't handle it, then don't offer it as a choice or give an option to refund the game. But they won't because a majority of the sales came from the Switch and they can't afford to pay back all that money.
All the content of the stretch goals should have been in the game at release. Its been 8 months and sill nothing, to no mention all the delays of the release itself and the shitshow that is the switch version.
Switch version sold best, at least for consoles, it should have been the leading version, judging by sales by a wide margin too.

Unironically, I think they would have been better off if they just said they can't fix the Switch version and offer Switch owners to switch to PC version instead. Cutting their losses is far more preferable than this bullshit going on.
That would create a massive shitstorm. Many people with consoles dont have access to PCs that can actually play games, if those people even want to play on PCs at all. They would have to offer refunds and that would be a disaster since the wii u/switch carried the kickstarter.
They "SAID" Zangetsu and Roguelike mode will be released together in March.

They already have the money of the people that wanted the game the most, delaying some content conveniently labeled as dlc will not give them a very visible profit loss and not even taint their image that much, seeing how much people swallow their pr damage control.
