just install the unofficial patch, UI and combat are meh but you get used to it after a while

Wish they scrapped some of the less important features like multiplayer, real time combat etc. and just spent the remaining effort on what actually mattered. Release a comprehensive patch after release cleaning up the remaining bugs, enjoy it becoming a cult classic and then release a definitive edition with all the cut shit when HD remakes become a thing

I meant things like Baldur's Gate, Fallout 1 etc.

Of course content is going to get cut. People don't have infinite money and you can't plan exactly down to the word of dialogue ahead.

No. My parents did buy BG2 for me but back then I was just a peanut brained kid and my English was infinitely worse so I didn't get too far ahead

For me only two cRPGs are worthy of being called great. Those are of course Torment and Fallout 2.
