I've never understood people who tolerate time limits, but there are actually people who prefer them for some ungodly reason. Just give them their niche with this and atelier and keep that shit out of actual good games, though I'm less willing to give up on atelier with finality than I am persona, given that early atelier/mana games had no time limit and were all amazing except iris 1 (which had other issues)

The group of Persona users you play as the whole game are pure evil.
You don't find this out until the last hours of the game. (Which is like 20 hours for a persona game).
What the player perceived as doing right, they were actually fucking things up and another group of Persona users had to clean up the mess.
So in the end confrontation happens and the twist is revealed.
A fight breaks out and you're controlling the good side group
After sometime cutscene happens blah blah blah
You then start playing as the good guy MC
He or she has all the personas you already collected, parallel weapons and shit. (Confidants would be tricky but there's a solution somewhere) So you wouldn't have to worry about any of that.
Then exposition and they'll reveal all the """subtle""" hints that were dropped in the game
Then the last dungeon or whatever you'll play as the new group
Final boss is the bad group
4 v 4
They act like you so they can switch, debuff, buff, etc,.
Idk just sounds like it could be a fun change of pace.
Every persona game basically follows the same formula.
