Nocturnal is shit. Heals are so much weaker it's not even funny. The basic rule is that Nocturnal is only for when a WHM is your cohealer. As for dungeons, you can use it for pre-pull shields, just don't let yourself enter combat until you've switched back to Diurnal. There are exceptions to this but don't worry about that until you are more experienced.

Card management is the hard part, especially when you get Sleeve Draw. The thing about Sleeve Draw though is that it makes it WAY easier to ensure you get all your seals for each Divination. At 2-minute intervals (i.e. when Div is ready to be used), even if you need seals, it's usually better to be playing minor arcanas because they are stronger so benefit more from the 2-minute cooldowns of other jobs and Div itself. This is true to a lesser extent at 60s windows, and a greater extent at 180 and 360s windows. But these are small optimizations, 99% of the time you should just try and get your 3 seals as quickly as possible then MA the rest - and if you don't get the seal you need with your redraws, MA instead of screwing up the seals you've built already.

you wouldn't use manafication after your redoublement combo, you'd use it at 50>mana>40 or so, I'm pretty sure that using manafication ends all/any combos you have, so you wouldnt be able to use verholy/verflare after

ideally you'd start a fight aero+thunder by casting at 5 seconds before pull (you can use acceleration before or after, its not really a big deal, but use it basically off cd before youre gonna build mana)
get to 40 or like, 38, or basically as close as you can mathematically to 49-50, (because this will allow you to have some mana built up for a second redoublement combo)
use corps-a-corps and engagement before manafication, because manafication will reset their cooldowns anyway

so at 50>mana>40 at the start

I played on and off since ARR, and crossclass isn't the same as hybrid roles. They're casualizing all content except for Ultimate in the first place, and having hybrid roles will fix the tank/healer shortage in queue times for all non-savage and Ultimate content.
