I've never play DMC, though I have played Dark Souls. Hack n Slash games aren't really my genre.

If you didnt have your balls in a vice which tightened as your health decreased, you never really beat Dark Souls.

That was my first playthrough. Never felt like I needed to switch weapons.

That's not a bad build if you just upgrade the club accordingly and use some common sense while leveling stats.
