>literally has smooth locomotion in one of the videos

oh no no no

Why is everyone so sassy, they're turning fucking Half Life of all things into a light comedy.

Yeah bro HL has always been super serial.

They switch around the 6 minute mark.

Portal Writers, thats why. Erik Wolpaw still helped write on Episode 1 and 2 and Laidlaw meant for someone else, likely Wolpaw and Falisek, to take over after Episode 3 finished, but that never happened, both Laidlaw and Falisek left before Valve actually got anything done, and now we have Wolpaw, Pinkerton, who wrote on Portal 2, and one of the Walking Dead/Firewatch writers.

Russel is talking way too fucking much in that first section holy shit, really commenting on every thing that happens. Besides that the rest of the footage is solid, they should have shown more smooth locomotion gameplay.

I think you mean in the OP's video. That retard didn't even watch the whole thing.

Valve posted 3 different videos as an announcement on steam, unlisted on their youtube so you can avoid giving clicks to IGN

meh

Looks neat but about as gimmicky as I expected it to be. Kind of surprised there's an upgrade system, just how long is the game supposed to be?

They say 15, but I think it's going to be closer to like 10-12

You didn't even watch the whole video before being a faggot.

Not even. You can see in the IGN video when he's walking through the piles of rubble with joystick based movement that the player just magically warps up the trash cans and shit when walking into them. There is no vaulting and climbing manually, only ladders, and that's only because when people saw the Tested footage of them teleporting up ladders everyone freaked out.

Boneworks on the other hand forces you to climb over obstacles manually by way of pushing down against them and dragging obstacles towards you while lifting your virtual legs so you vault over it. You can dangle from pipes and climb over anything you can get your hands on. HL:A is quite literally Arizona Sunshine with a AAA coat of paint.

Good. Boneworks was shit

xen trailer

not a fan of the constant banter

>barnacles only choke you not lift you up

Holy fuck this is unwatchable with all those cuts.

yeah, that guy that keeps talking is just obnoxious, none of his epic quips in these videos were ever funny

Boneworks is the best VR game in existence. You must be retarded.

>that old eastern euro feel to the city is completely gone now and it looks like your generic dystopia
>cartoony graphics and quirky humour every 5 seconds

You can really tell there are basically no original concept artists left at Valve from the Half Life days. This is like the soulless 343 version of Half Life.

I guarantee they tested it and someone got motion sickness
