"Normal' mode is unplayable, I wiped to the trash mobs repeatedly. The boss is impossible. Most of the people that wanted this game played it during their childhood, well we're grown up now and working fulltime jobs and raising kids of our own. I only get 2-3 hours of game time a week, but this game seems tuned for the lightning fast reflexes of professional esports shooting game competitors. It's ridiculous.

I downloaded the demo and after playing it, I knew. I knew that people will ragequit because you can't spam potions.
And oh boy, I was right. I never expected to see people complaining about difficulty in FF7, but that happened.
You guys would probably die on the 2nd enemy in Lightning Returns lol.

Literally just use potions. The game floods you with them.
Potions only take 1 ATB in combat and can be used freely outside of combat. If you keep yourself healed up between battles, you'll never die to mobs. For the boss, you can have Barret use potions on Cloud and vice-versa, L2/R2 is super useful.
It's really not some hardcore action game, it has the bones of VII's ATB system but instead of waiting for a meter to fill up, you fill the meter using basic attacks. Obviously it's just a demo, hopefully the game is challenging enough to force you to fully utilize the game's mechanics, but I don't expect it to be particularly demanding of the player's reflexes.
