I came in with low expectations and I was pretty impressed by the demo. The production quality is absolutely top notch, like first-party Sony tier. I was expecting abysmal voice acting, but it was actually at least as good as RE2R and DMC5. The music was the same classic tracks from that area in the original game, but re-recorded to be more epic like a movie.
I sucked at the combat; I didn't really understand how to avoid taking damage because dodging didn't do shit most of the time since enemies attacked many times or with weird delays. And attacking prevents you from blocking for a moment so you have to expect it and block early, so I was always getting pelted with attacks. Especially vs those shock troopers and the scorpion boss with his missiles and AOE explosions and such.
Fortunately for me, most attacks didn't do that much damage and they gave plenty of potions. I never played FF15 or KH though, and people say this is a similar system, so I'm totally new to this type of combat. I imagine it wouldn't take long to get the hang of it though

Train platform into industrial city area onto a cat walk in front of the reactor that's bathed in the glow of mako
Then you get into the reactor and it's a mix of future tech and old crumbling concrete as you move into the heart of the reactor that's a mass of twisting pipes running all over the place and the sickly green glow of mako energy
Now compare that to the demo and it's gray corridors and bland sheet metal square areas that let you know combat is going to happen right here and nowhere else
