Whats with the FF6 hate I've been seeing on Yea Forums these last few years? I don't consider it the best on its own console, genre or hell, even series (that'd be V you plebian scum) but there's nothing really wrong with 6.

I like the grand dramatic storytelling with its varied varied locales and story beats that stretch the spectrum from grandiose and melodramatic to goofy and odd. I love the varied and memorable cast that has something for everyone to enjoy. I love the OST and the openness of the WoR. On a technical level, its a beautiful game and arguably one of the best looking titles on the system.

It certainly isn't OMGBESTGAMEEVAH matereial for me, but it blows IV completely out of the water in both the gameplay and story department which curiously doesn't attract as much shitposting as VI does.
