>Bokoblin
>Korok seeds
is there anything else in this fucking game
Bokoblin
Mountains and herbs
nope
It's a glorified tech demo with a fun physics engine, that's about it.
Should have had more NPCs with sidequests and fewer shrines but make each one larger and more complex
>a fun physics engine
They're about 12 years late to that party. I was all physics'd out with Half-Life 2 and Garry's Mod.
>that pic
In before “but the prize was the adventure!”
Yes there are those lizard dudes
Mmo sidequests and golfing minigames
Zelda isn't about the game itself, it's about all the gay Link porn you get after the game releases.
Unironically no. It is an empty fucking game.
THIS. It is the most overrated game there is. Nothing else even comes close.
I started reading this and got angry, then I finished and wound up agreeing.
>Bait thread No. 1 fails
>Make another one
Reminder that this is a bait thread made by a BotW drone because no one talks about the game unless you shit on it or act like it's the best game ever made.
Tell me...
What is in The Witcher 3?
What is in Skyrim?
What is in Red Dead 2?
What do those games have that BOTW doesnt?
The answer? Nothing, obviously. BOTW has everything those games have, and more.
Except they didn't include some shitty ass card game that you need to do the exact right side quests to actually get good cards to fucking play it.
More like it's a thread made by an autistic faggot (probably a sonygro) mad about the success of the game.
120 copy pasted shrines.
Congratulations, you got memed by a bunch of brainwashed corporate fanatics.
Trials of the sword.
As opposed to The Witcher 3 where instead of going left to fight monster for Quest A you go right to fight monster for Quest B
So diverse
No one is replying to me because they know I'm right. BOTW has more content than any other Open World.
is that for getting every seed?
epic pasta
Yea, I think so.
Yes
The prize makes fun of retards who actually bothered hunting down fucking 8000 or w/e of those cunts. You're meant to collect whatever you want, maybe 100-200 on a normal playthrough.
Not every game is meant to be 100%ed
>No one is replying to me because they know I'm right. BOTW has more content than any other Open World.
you never played any other games in your life, you sad Switchlet Nincel. you don't even have a pont of reference.
I listed 3 games you fucking mindblowing retard, jesus christ.
>The prize makes fun of retards who actually bothered hunting down fucking 8000 or w/e of those cunts.
Why are BoTW defenders so stupid? The game is about exploring and finding things. How is it retarded to go and explore all there is to explore in an exploration game? What's next don't do all shrines? Or don't do every quest?
Why the fuck did they relegate all armour to DLC you would think you would be able to find all that shit in the base game seeing as there is actually ZERO treasure to find
For some reason, the devs thought the shrines themselves were good enough as "treasure"
Lol I don't mean to insult people who actually do end up finding them all after a long time of playing, thats totally cool, but its not at all expected. Instead of getting a 'ding' and 100 Xbox points, you get a gold turd. Same fucking shit (literally)
List out all the things you consider content from those games and BoTW and I'll judge.
>3 fucking years
Jesus, this game really broke this board.
Bout tree fiddy lynels and some hundreds of repetitive shrines.
I give BotW a lot of shit but that's probably because it has such a great ootential that was laid to waste. Even SS was better despite handholding ruining the experience
yes
I think this image truly justifies image as being an absolute truth.
Okay
>Witcher 3 content
Ride horse, explore land (little verticality), fight monsters for Mutagens, skill tree, side quests (fetch/monsters), card mini game, huge Story/cutscenes, character development/choices
>RDR2 content
Horse riding, exploring land (no verticality), hunting, gang fights, sidequests (fight a gang etc), finding missing items, crafting, huge story/cutscenes, poker etc minigames
>BOTW content
Horse riding, exploring land (tons of verticality), fighting groups of monsters for items to craft with, overworld puzzles (to get into shrines, solve koroks), shrines themselves, upgrading (gear/slots), crafting, side quests (fetch typically), mini games (bowling, etc.), dragons, labrynths (reward being gear), environmental conditions you must solve, physics puzzles
Every monster hunt in the Witcher 3 was like its own short story with moral dilemmas at the end
yea but for someone who only cares about gameplay that means not much
Notice how you separate everything for BoTW to make is seem like it has more? You split puzzles into 3 categories. 90% of shrines are puzzles (5% combat shrines, 5% walk in walk out after doing a puzzle) so overworld, shrine, and physics puzzles can be consolidated. You say you fight monsters for items to craft with for BoTW but don't mention it for TW3 also leaving out the fact you can upgrade and craft in that game as well. You bring dragons up as if they're separate from other monsters when it falls in line with the "fight" monsters for items to craft with. Labyrinths aren't a form of content separate from exploring unless you're also willing to include the optional places you can explore in Red Dead and TW3 as well that give better items.
Only the half a dozen tests of strength can be considered copypasted tho.
>I FOUND ANOTHER KOROK SEED
Yes and you'd know that if you actually played the game.
>this level of delusion
back to /x/ with your conspiracy theories you brainlet
the magnesis and rock circle koroks are dumb. you can see them from miles away so there's no sense of discovery, it's just a chore to go over and get them. it's much more satisfying hunting down a korok you can hear but not see, or climbing something tall and seeing the sparkles, or under a rock in a really hidden place.
The other games dont have any puzzles, BOTW has many times of puzzles.
And i DID mention fighting monsters for mutagens for TW3. Crafting too, yes, same shit.
>better items
Lmfao what the fuck is a 'better' item in a video game? Prettier pixels?
Are you actually retarded? I was not saying the other games have puzzles I was telling you to stop trying to break down puzzles to the degree that you did because ultimately they are just puzzles. You mentioned mutagens but not crafting or upgrading for TW3, BotW you mentioned crafting and upgrading. See how you try to break systems down for BoTW but blatantly omit thing from the games you put up against it? Also I don't feel I need to explain what a better item is in a video game seeing as you used the term upgrades in your original post so you clearly know what it is I'm referring to.
>just puzzles
"No". You don't just group all varieties of puzzles into one. There are overworld puzzles where you search around, use rafts and wind, etc. There are puzzles like Eventide Island. Puzzles like typical Zelda block/dungeon puzzles. All widly different gameplay styles.
Also, the ACT of upgrading is fun. I don't care about "better items" other than the fun from getting them, not using them (when its just gear/weaponry I mean)
Good game, 7.5/10. It lacked interesting quests, NPCs, dialogue and content in general.
An awesome and amazingly well balanced Trials of the Sword. Especially the first and the third one. Just beat the third one today. Feels so fucking great.
Second one?
Is even easier than the first one. It is more dynamic, yes, but felt much easier than the first one.
>"No". You don't just group all varieties of puzzles into one.
Yes you do group all varieties of puzzles into one because it's only one form of content that you're trying to pick apart for some reason. Just like you consolidate quests and monsters despite variations in each, you can consolidate puzzles.
>There are puzzles like Eventide Island.
Eventide island is not a puzzle, what the fuck are you even on about. You're on an island with no gear and have to put balls into a hole. There is no puzzle there unless you consider the entire game a puzzle.
>Also, the ACT of upgrading is fun. I don't care about "better items"
Ok, then why not leave that off your list.
Hehe *poops*
what are you talking about? most of the game's armor sets are found through story progression or as rewards for quests/shrines.
