Subpar MMO is kind of redundant. MMOs are grindy trash with no ambition beyond making you addicted to the level up sound and seeing bigger numbers in your gear.

They made Overwatch with a lot of the leftover art after the project was canned. Video somewhere that has the devs talk about how Tracer was one of the classes and Roadhog was a generic enemy. They didn't cancel it just to make a shooter.

even though it started pay2win it's insane how much worse it got over time

While you're not completely wrong, Blizzard did do some things right.
They invented totally unique factions in RTS' with StarCraft. Before that factions were mostly glorified palette swaps.
Battle.net was godlike for online gaming back in the 90's.

MMOs are dead outside of WoW and FF. Do you really want another wildstar?
