>Gamedev taking community suggestions
Whats wrong with this?
I wouldn't buy a game like that. Nor would I necessarily buy a game wgere suggestions were taken from any of the chan sites.
>Gamedev forces a has-been celebrity into his circle
Tim Schafer
>Gamedev takes suggestions from Yea Forums
MGSV was the writing on the wall
Are you blind or retarded? Read again
>Game dev takes suggestions from Yea Forums
but Minecraft was a generational hit
Game is put into early access before it's even halfway done.
>reddit beta testers suggest something retarded
>devs call them out and ignore them
That's fair. Bug Fables seems like it's doing alright too.
>gamedev is active on twitter
>souls like
>procedural generated
>metroidvania
>rpg elements
>from the creators of x
Ok I've read it again. Gonna explain?
>dev team has a female community manager
>Game devs are native Chinese
>dev team has female community manager who responds with one liners like "yea it's great" and quits for week when someone shows even a bit of a criticism.
People are retards who don't know what they need.
>gamedev's twitter is full of political shit
>almost no screenshots or game related tweets
Path of Exile and it works great, much better than if they listened to Yea Forums
It was still kind of funny when Mike of all people was nervous as fuck the first time they had him on while Rich was gelling with him off the bat.
>gamedev doing AMA on resetera
yikes
>Gamedev is american
Rich just doesn't give a fuck
I am willing to believe that he's never acting on RLM, it's just him being himself
People are made of all kinds of opinions & differences that might make, past a certain complexity, a universally good decision an utopia, you mean...
>It's a Mike pretends to be drunk skit
name one game
Fuck new Activision.
because Rich is a celebrity, he was on the Ellen show.
It's ok, you can say Path of Exile
>gamedev doing AMA on 8kun
Both sites are politically opposite extremes and both are filled with pedos. I wonder whats up with that and why devs want to do AMA on those sites?
I will not buy their game!
better feedback than r*Ddit
>game devs take suggestions from reddit
>game has been in early access for over two years
>swede devs
>supporter edition out before it's official release
>roadmap
>multi-player focus
>gamedev is using reddit exclusively as their "game forum"
>flat-shaded textureless 3D aesthetic
Only the Totally Accurate xxxxxx games are worth playing.
You rang?
listening to mike rant about star trek is the best way to have a comfy sleep
>that end segment of hitb: star trek beyond
>game has anime aesthetic
That’s like 90% of the PS4 “library”
You mean cell shaded..?
Some pedophiles have excellent taste and opinions on videogames, what is the problem?
>sandbox
>survival
>early access
>base building
No. Stuff like pic related (even though it's one of the ones I mentioned that's actually a decent game)
Yeah I'd rather have this over them letting the autistic son of the CEO decide shit
And dont act like game subreddits are anything like the rest of reddit
>beta is only available for "pros" and streamers
>gamedev taking feedback but maintaining their own general course of game dev
good
>gamedev just sitting back and taking any ideas from the community resulting in massive amounts of scope creep
bad
>Some slightly big streamer plays the game
>Devs start patching in references to them into the game
>Some slightly big streamer endorses the game
>Devs put his hair style in
>He dies before the game comes out
Wait, you mean Rich 'dick the birthday boy' Evans has co-starred with Macaulay Culkin?
What a fucking hack fraud.
>the virgin "beta" tester
>THE CHAD ALPHA FULL ON BUGS AND CRASHES tester
god I hate this style
>have trillion dollar game idea
>too scared to talk about it without someone stealing it
Macaulay is really starting to overstay his welcome
Just start making it and don't talk about it until you have enough progress to do some social media presence. That way you can have a record of when you started work and can claim it was your original idea. If you're just an idea guy, then what does it matter anyway?
I like him.
He's chill.
>Pretends
Even if they do steal it there’s no garuntee that they’ll be able to execute it well, same goes for you too I suppose
You mean Mike chewing interactive Star Trek video game?
Everything.
Doesn't matter if it's reddit or non. As soon as developers listen to the community, the WRONG things are focused on. Everytime.
