Let's settle this once and for all.
Which game is best: Demon's souls, Dark Souls, or Bloodborne?
Let's settle this once and for all.
Which game is best: Demon's souls, Dark Souls, or Bloodborne?
Bloodborne, obviously.
Blood Borne >> Demons Souls >>>>>> Dark Souls
It has been settled. We have had so many polls and Dark Souls 1 won by huge margins.
Sekiro

why did this game have no lasting impact, it reminded me of cuphead, people praised every aspect of the game but it seemed quickly forgotten. Especially in comparison to its predecessor dark souls
Dark Souls is best, especially DS1 with DS3 being close second.
Why are you like this? There are threads mentioning Sekiro every single day.
And it's a singleplayer game, of course it won't have the lasting impact of a ARPG with pvp
yes, i figured it was just my autism. It still doesnt feel lke the same level of fanaticism some other games have, sekiro reminds me of demon souls in that way, very innovative and new for the time but quickly forgotten in the shadow of newer games in the same series(?). I suspect from software has something very special cooking for ps5...

old is gold meem: demons souls
based and unfiltered: dark souls
fair enough
Bloodborne. Every game after DeS was just a marginal tweak to existing systems. BB was the culmination of that experimentation + a somewhat significant change of pace and it turned out exactly as well as it could have.
First half of Dark Souls > Bloodborne = Demon Souls > second half of Dark Souls
bloodborne just has to win due to the graphics and general quality, very little shortcuts and much more ambitious game
This
>very little shortcuts
I’d have to agree, much more linear
I like all three but when you pick it apart and leave the nostalgia and contrarianism aside, Bloodborne is the most impressive game and it's not really even close.
>that lightning reversal
Fucking beautiful.
>much more ambitious game
In what way?
The ambitious thing Dark Souls tries to do and generally succeeds at is creating a world that is interconnected and constantly loops around, eliminating the need for fast travel.
Whereas Bloodborne's ambitious endeavor imo is the moon phases and insight which are very clearly underdeveloped
>The ambitious thing Dark Souls tries to do and generally succeeds at is creating a world that is interconnected and constantly loops around,
That sounds ambitious as hell, play Kings Field 4
What’s makes BB more ambitious
>inb4 combat
Play a real action game
