Aquatic Mine is bad

>Tails
Mission Street is good/great
Route 101, Prison Lane and Hidden base are decent/servicable
Eternal Engine is bad

>Rouge
Dry Lagoon is good/great
Security Hall, Route 280 and Egg Quarters is decent/servicable
Mad Space is bad

Cannon's Core is probably averagging out to good overall.

So combined, most missions are either fantastic are good/great, a little less as many are decent/servicable, and you have a few bad ones. So overall on average, the game's somewhere between decent and good...

...Except then also you have the chao garden, alt missions,the MP, the 10/10 soundtrack, etc, which bumps it up further.

He sucks it's dick a little much though in a very nostalgiadriven way even as somebody who loves the game, but i'd say it's a good attempt to pick at the brain of somebody who likes it; same with JebTube's.

one of the demos for sonic adventure 2 that came with phantasy star used a more loose feeling engine. it was enough of a difference to feel like you had more control over sonic and pals to the point where it felt BETTER than the final game
and it kept the shoes before the SOAP shoe deal, so by default its simply superior in this regard, but to answer the question yes, his taste is shit, and hes just bad at the treasure hunting like 90% of the people playing this shit.
lets also not forget anything past the dreamcast release added exclamation points tot ell you youre right on it, while dreamcast didnt have such a thing. this meant you had to get good instead of relying on some gay red indicator above your head
tails was shoehorned in and rushed, eggman wasnt, you can argue half the mech shit is awful but you cannot argue that the dreamcast iteration was worse than other versions due in part to core shit being fucked up in later releases (ie: lighting in thr ARK when youre eggman, needing to shoot shit to see. on dreamcast its dark as fuck and you cant see a goddamn thing)

my opinion stands valid simply because hes a shitter and has no opinion other than "wo, 1/3 of this game is trash" when its really 2/3 of the game is too difficult for him to pick up and play because guess what faggot, knuckles and tails dont go fast. eggman and rouge dont go fast. theyre slow because theyre not sonic and shadow, and tails sucked dick in SA1, knuckles just needed refining
