Adventure time was only good for a few seasons, then it became shit. Regular Show was great. Gumball is hit and miss but they do some really cool shit and some of the jokes were really funny like the Chinese knock-off episode where they tell chinks to get some originality.

Somewhere down the line he meets a girl he somehow connects with and has a real long-term relationship that works out. It's very real and I like that, and they had Rigby & Eileen for the relationship that the show itself sets up.

Greenblatt had a really particular sense of humor. Maybe because it came at a time when I was pretty disillusioned with cartoon network. Both chowder and flapjack felt like the only two cartoons in a sea of live action shit. Only other decent thing I really remember that survived was fosters and even that just got increasingly fucking obnoxious as time went on.

Thundercats Roar is absolutely terrible, but honestly even among bad western cartoons it's a much lower bar. CN dumped it on their app with no fanfare, they know it's dogshit.
There's occasionally modern western cartoons with good animation out there, or at least competent animation. It's hard because a lot of the biggest shows in western animation the past decade or so have really simple artstyles and are either in the Adventure Time vein or the Simpsons/Family Guy vein. CN in particular had an issue for a while where they greenlit a lot of shows created by ex-AT people which ended up making their lineup look homogenous.
i just wish they had kept Neil Cicierega's song in the final cut.

Too much anime looks similar as shit, so much of it I think is in the way they light shit. For example Stein;Gate has a pretty generic artstyle but the lighting they go for makes it look much better than generic shit like My Hero or whatever weebs are watching nowadays. The pilot was really cool and there's like 3 other good episodes, but it was mostly a slog where everybody shit on Lion-O until he learned a lesson even if a later episode had him learn a similar or even contradictory lesson. Then they literally write Lion-O to get cucked TWICE and end the season on a cliffhanger because they were certain that they'd get renewed but then didn't.

Cautiously optimistic since it has a bunch of people that worked on the good 3D Ninja Gaidens without oatmeal man. Weapon variety even in S1-4 Jack gameplay is nice, but some of the animations and shading need work.
The one thing I will say is that the game REALLY needs to nail the boss fights, especially if it's covering the highlights of the series. There's some fucking incredible fights that will definitely be there that need to be executed well. The fact that they show gameplay in locations from the intro episodes to Scotsman and Scaramouche without showing either makes me a bit worried, but they said more is being shown at PAX.

I liked the lore episodes of adventure time.
The ice king stuff was great. The alt universe without the bomb was great. I think all that stuff were really the high points of the show honestly. Simon and Marcy was kino and it isn't like the highest rated epsiode of the series? The alt universe episodes were the most watched iirc unless they've been dethroned recently.
What brought it down for me was the relationship drama and stuff and the show just got too boring, the season with that comet finale was a huge letdown and that was where I dropped it.
Ironically I see rebecca sugar blamed a lot but she was behind most of the lore stuff and all the best episodes in the series as far as I remember.

TMNT 2003 is great, the best overall Turtles show when you weigh both visuals and writing I think with the CGI 2012 show being 2nd. That said, Fast Forward is the season that shows that they started running out of ideas and everything after that is just not good EXCEPT Turtles Forever which is a great movie and one of the best things out of the franchise.
The current show, Rise of the TMNT, I haven't watched yet, but the consensus seems to be that the writing is mediocre but the visuals are 12/10 incredible.

However, the character designs were just a little too simple for its own good and some of the gags fall flat. AA games need to rise up, they're the window into 6th gen quality we need these days since indies seem good on covering older styles of games that the mainstream passed by. That's why despite Soleil's middling track record the fact that they're ex-Ninja Gaiden devs gives me hope.
Same here on 2012, but I felt it was well put-together for the most part. Turtles Forever is just a great watch for any Turtles fan, with the only issue for me being that while the other three soundalikes for the 80s cartoon Turtles are pretty solid, their Leo is clearly just Dan Green being Dan Green. Rise Of seems like one of those sad instances where there's a disconnect between writing quality and visual quality, since every fight scene I've caught clips of online is really beautiful but I've heard nothing particularly good about the writing. Absolute unit Raph is cool though.

It's really weird going back and watching this show.
