I don't think American games were ever particularly good. Yes, including LGS and everything. Played em, they were weak. The arcade stuff from the 80s and 70s is good however. That's the tough balance, a lot of good American arcade games exist, but they're fun to play but not fun to beat. I love Smash TV but I like the idea of it more than I like playing it.
