It's that time again for some RTCW CO-OP. Come play for a while.

Instructions (takes like 2 minutes if you already have RtCW on your computer):
1) Download the mod - rtcwcoop.com
2) Copy everything over to your default RtCW directory.
3) Start up the CO-OP mod by double-clicking the CO-OP application, not the base WolfSP executable.
4) Search for public servers, we'll be on "MiDu's #2" server
Going to bed soon and I don't have it installed but that's one of the greatest FPS games of all time, so have a bump and good luck.
thanks user, and you are correct
Also, from what I've seen in previous threads, this CO-OP mod works across a variety of game versions. Doesn't matter if you were a buyfag or not, or if you got it from Steam, GOG, or retail. I would think all that matters is if you have the most up to date version of the game, which game out in 2002, but even if you don't have that, just try it. Playing the single-player missions with other people is as fun as it sounds if you like RTCW.
Mission 5 > Mission 1 >>> Mission 3 > Mission 4 > Mission 2 > Mission 6 >>>>>> Mission 7
Prove me wrong
Are the enemies beefed up for more health and damage? Even on Death Incarnate it would be a cakewalk with 3-4 people
Mission 3 would be the best if not for Forest
The enemies are almost aimbot accurate no matter what, and you can vote to change the server for "more" or "many more" reinforcements - basically more enemies. It's really well balanced for the most part. Even with a full lobby of 8 people, you'll still die at times.
Also more zombies makes the crypt levels so much fun.
Is there some group or contact info so I can keep up with this? I've love to take part but I can't today.
Here's a youtube video that walks you through these 4 steps if anyone's getting confused.
this
bump because video games. ET matches when?
Nah, I just make threads when I want to play RTCW with some other people. I only discovered this mod last week, and each thread has been a lot of fun. I'm going to make it a regular thing, though, for sure.
I'd be down for this, too.
I'd also be down for this even though I've never played ET. If you start making threads telling us how to set up ET and which server to join, I really think it'd become a popular thing. I see more people fondly remember ET than RTCW even. thanks for the bump
1 user joined, we're officially kicking off on the first level, come play lads
MOMMYYYYYYY
based Helgachad
Setting ET is really easy. i already explained it bunch of times in RTCW threads. you'll need just to download ET legacy 2.75 and apply a band-aid fix so the client won't crash on joining modded servers on windows. and as for server's we can just pick a empty one from trackbase and find some empty or filled server that's running legacy (legacy is the modernised replacement for ETpro) unless people want jaymod/silent/NQ.
we're onto the Tram boys
FUCKING PANZER
Tram level is maximum comfy
>RTCW Co-op
Wait what?
yep, this cool new mod. If you like RTCW's campaign, it's that but better.
forgot to reply
Never even knew this existed, heh
game crashes when i install the widescreen patch
there are so many fucking zombies
sorry can't really help with that since I just play on the standard 4:3. seems to be a common problem though.
It's a shame that nobody makes shooters like Enemy Territory anymore.
Every other shooter, even COD, feels so goddamn slow by comparison.
>that nazi that fell off the balcony and killed himself just now
Can i make a private server?
That's the Quake 3 engine you're feeling. Nothing comes close to it.
Yeah I know, and while I understand that arena shooters have fallen out of style, I wish somebody would make a shooter with the movement fluidity of the Quake 3 engine with big open maps like ET.
you can, I just don't know how to care to. Looks like a pain in the ass if you're not good with server configuration
lmao there's so many soulful moments happening in-game right now
So that's a no for me. Thanks anyways user
we got 4 people playing get in
Why does the Steam version not work
it should, that's what I'm using. What kind of problem are you having?
bump
which version of the game do i need for this
doesn't matter, I assume it should be up to date though
Speak nigga, i'm another user that wants to troubleshoot this too.
32 bit version of the mod works for me
i got a gog version and it seems to work, connecting right now
The only part about 3 I ever liked was the air base. Don't know why ranked 4 below it as well, most of it is pretty much DoD which was fairly popular back in the day for very good reasons.
