Building an OSRS bot client so I can make extra cash

How do people play this game normally?

>people
Runescapefags are not people

autism

Run it in the background while I do my Kanji study

I don't know. I botted ally accounts to max cmb and it still felt like a ridiculous grind just setting them up every day

Assuming my EXP rate per hour doesn't change it'll take my script 143 hours to get from 80 to 99 strength
You still need to check in on the game though. I used to study while I tried some of the more afkable skills and I would have to perform some sort of action every 90 seconds or so

How do you not get banned when botting? Does Jagex just not care to ban members bots that often? I've heard f2p bots get banned really fast.

Grinding sucks in any game, you've gotta level skills in a fun or a money making way. People obsessing over maxing and shit is just autism, but the game is fun if you dont play like that

I used to play RS without botting at all and I got strength, attack and fishing to 99

Man you have anything to bot in a private server?

I'm tired and want to bot in vscape

It depends on what you're doing
F2p bots only get banned fast because the bot farm owners make no attempt to hide the fact they're a bot. They run their script in crowded areas and they'll usually leave their bot running 24/7 and trade any money they make to a mule account.
When you start playing for an inhuman amount of hours and if you're constantly trading money over to a different account Jagex will pick up on that quickly

Okay i'm here just to chill Vscape server it's a private server from Yea Forums

there's nothing impressive about a 99 in osrs

Maybe? Is there anything like runelite for private servers?
I have tested different types of bots and I think a colour coded AHK bot is the least detectable so it's the type of bot I'm focusing on at the moment

If you have a blog or a discord and want to develop something for it leave it lad.

The game was built from the ground up to take 5ever. Also you're halfway to 99 at 93.

If the goal was to make gold and sell it, would muling it to a separate account before trading to a gold selling website only increase the risk of bans?

What did people used to run their bots on back in the day? Nowadays we have phones with Windows on them. We have Raspberry Pis, virtual machines, very cheap PCs, a bunch of other shit.
Can you run bots through the Cloud?

I have a game which requires me to play FlappyBird and I am not playing 10 hours a day for 100k gold

Bots are absolutely destroying OSRS and the truth is it's been this way for years. Jagex lies about banrates. The truth is for every bot they ban two more go unbanned until they've at least farmed out billions of gold. Some go unbanned indefinitely. If they banned all the bots, chances are the playerbase would drop by over half, and F2P would drop 90%.

I believe so, however using a mule is more or less required if you're a serious gold farmer
Even if you're not botting Jagex will still ban people who sell gold for IRL currency. They'll notice if you're constantly giving away large sums of GP to other players and will ban you
>Can you run bots through the Cloud?
Yes but it's not a good idea, accounts that are running off an Amazon AWS or other data centre IPs or a proxy are really scrutinized by Jagex.

I don't understand how people still look at Runescape and sink so many fucking hours into it, 90% of the game is easy as sin

it's a test of how dumb or how stupid you are to sit down in front of the computer while making up things to distract yourself from the boredom. I do not know of any person who plays Runescape without a movie or something playing on the background because the game itself is uninteresting

Why would anyone play on that dead server

yeah playing runescape as an adult was just me buying a script and fishing 16 hours a day for sharks, selling, and then wasting all my gold doing dumb shit. Arguably more enjoyable than playing it as a kid.,

>Also you're halfway to 99 at 93.
stupid reddit myth
exp rates from 93 to 99 are vastly superior to those from level 1 to 93

Not a reddit myth for most leveling methods. There are very few optimal exp grinding methods that get better post 93. You're usually at the cap for exp/hr by then. The optimal mining exp/hr doesn't change, for example. It's a different story completely if you're using methods that aren't exp efficient but instead give you good money. Most of the moneymaking methods do indeed require(and improve at) higher skill levels.

I can't believe people play a game that caters more to bots rather than human beings playing a videogame. I also can't believe people look at pre-2007scape and think the game ever had a soul when all you need to do to get max level in most skills is boring as shit

It's like it was made by people who never played videogames, it just blows my mind how much time it demands and how little you get out of it

best quests and music in any MMORPG though

You usually get the optimal exp/hr method by level 60 for most skills (stuff like mining and prayer are an exception), so 93 is not halfway, but if one were to check the "true" halfway in terms of time it probably wouldn't be too far away from 93
