After the 2nd pass, we'll be at 81 characters, 88 counting echoes. I think there's a decent chance they try and add enough to reach the magical 100 number. That'd be a bombshell of marketing. You can't replicate the excitement of "Everyone is Here" in the next installment (even if by all means, they managing to keep EVERYONE from Ultimate would be nothing short of miraculous), but advertising the next one as "100 CHARACTERS!!!!" would definitely turn heads.

Neither Crack or Burning snap to the ledge. Dunk can be easily edgeguarded. Tackle snaps way too late. And that's if you don't fuck and do a Crack by mistake and die off-stage.

I really dislike the HD system and EX moves, I thought KOFXIII handled it better with being able to use a separate bar to cancel moves you otherwise wouldn't be able to cancel. Having EX moves tied to HD activation just makes the flow of a match seem linear in XIV. They should have extended on XIII's system but adjust combo length since some of them could go on for ages. The only good thing about XIV was the cast but even then I still wasn't having fun.
