please, please stop. Just put me out of my misery and stop reminding me we havnt had a direct in fucking ages. Just let the direct get announced out of the blue as a genuine surprise so i can forget about it till it happens.

Nintendo usually brings 1 big holiday game to E3. in 2017 this was mario, in 2018 this was smash and in 2019 this was pokemon. All of these games were announced in the first quarter of there release year, meaning if the holiday game isn't BotW 2 we will probably find out what it is in this upcoming direct (march/april). Thing is, every A-List nintendo franchise is already on switch. Mario, Smash, Zelda, Mario Kart, Pokemon and even Splatoon. Taking all of this into account the holiday game is very likely to be a sequel to one of these and as far as we know BotW 2 is the only one in development, so I fully expect a BotW teaser with the words "Holiday 2020" this spring, if not we're probably getting Mario Kart 9, and if it's neither of these nintendo could be in serious trouble. Besides that I expect the direct to focus on some minor or niche games to hold us over until Zelda. Probably some news for Bayo 3 and NMH but besides that not much else.

I'd like to see NMH3, Bayo 3, BotW2 and whatever Retro's working on.

Nintendo is in Japan, and Japan has been infected so badly because they live near the chinks and it spread there so no one can even work now.

Chinese production delays means its not a good idea to announce anything right now, since there's no telling when any physical releases would be able to come out.

Unless Nintendo goes full digital that'll delay things.

Nintendo had to cancel Bayo 3, SMT V, and Metroid Prime so there's literally nothing coming out this year except Xenoblade Deluxe in December, which will be the only thing at E3 besides smash
