Is this game any good if I never played WRPGs? Is it comfy?
Is this game any good if I never played WRPGs? Is it comfy?
very comfy very good
pro tip: explore every crook and cranny to find every possible combat encounter to get as much exp as possible
>never played WRPG
>Is it comfy
kys
how is it even possible to not have played a WRPG? I always think these people are baiting or something but maybe it has gotten this bad here.
not op but is original sin 2 actually good
I played 1 and hated it the whole
>There are people out there with experiences other than my own?
>INCONCEIVABLE
generally speaking, people who play games entirely for the gameplay aren't as interested in wrpg's
OS games are a rare exception in the genre where it's actually fun to play
>enough of an autistic sperg to have found Yea Forums
>enough of an autistic sperg to understand Yea Forums memes
>somehow hasn't played a WRPG
yes, play lone wolf with 1 summoner and 1 necromancer
Its not hard to not play things user and Yea Forums isn't exactly the sekrit club it used to be.
Game's quality man
play it with friends you can do stupid shit like throw magic mustard gas at people
You've made a mistake in assuming that you have to be some sort of autist to find Yea Forums when it's visited by 6 year olds and normie redditors now constantly.
and even before that there have always been people who disliked wrpg's
I never played a Mario game in my 30 years of existence
I think that's pretty anomalous by Yea Forums standards
OP here, I meant to say I never played a CRPG.
this is funny coming from a board that is know to not play the games they complain about
Wrpg is not a game genre faggots
based Charlie Chaplin
its quite hard without a guide. A lot of side quests you will never complete without a guide. Like one where a ghost tells you to find where his body is buried and get proof that he was murdered. That's all you're told. Solution is that its buried out in the middle of nowhere, where you dont have a reason to go. A lot of quests are like this.
Charlie chaplin?
I thought this guy was groucho marx.
It's a great intro to CRPGs, yes. Accessible for newbies.
ugh
I always look up quests on wiki so that I complete them all
I've never played a CRPG but this one has piqued my interest. Is it a good point to jump into for a brainlet? I can't into strategy much.
Both OS and OS2 are pretty newbie friendly due to a well designed UI.
it requires more thought than your average wrpg, but in return the combat is also a lot more fun
it's a good jump-in point for folks from other genres as some of the classics require you to get used to gameplay that's not particularly engaging
falls off a cliff in the third act but yeah, first two acts are good
tell me what i said wrong fagot assfuck
*peaked
>Help these tranny looking Paladin
>Only character I actually love, except the Tiefling, is an Undead Elf
>I get cucked into ALL of the shit characters and ALL of the good characters go to some little midge retard
Fuck me, I've started the game off in a bad way
How should I start?
I see all these build guides and now I don't know what to choose.
People say don't choose custom because you miss 25 percent of the story??
Choose Fane, or at least have him in your party. Don't bother with Beast. Go for a ranged/melee physical damage build and there is a mirror to respec infinitely and for free after chapter 1 if you fuck up.
Really good.
You don't miss anything, the way the game works is that each character has their own storyline, and some of these intertwine with other but also clash with them, like one character will need an NPC for information while the other will want to kill them for revenge.
Choosing 4 origin characters will give you the most storylines but it might end up being a clusterfuck as each of your party members ends up affecting your game in several ways.
Feel free to make your own character and grab some companions, then when you wanna replay the game pick other companions
Assuming your playing on a lower difficulty for your first time, don't sweat class build too much. After Fort Joy you get access to an item that lets you respec your skills as much as you want.
Pick an origin character if their intro spiel video appeal to you. Most of them struck me as edgy snowflakes so IMO you aren't missing a huge amount if you go custom for your MC and just invite them into your party.
Fort Joy = Good
Driftwood = Good
Stupid fucking volcano island place = trash
Arx = trash
didn't even bother completing the game after halfway through Arx. Literally should just use Driftwood as a template for all places as it was the GOAT.
>enough of an autistic sperg to have found Yea Forums
Oh wow, he found one of the most trafficked websites of all time. Yeah bro, Yea Forums is super underground, only autists here.
Are you playing kingmaker?
