I honestly liked the game and the gacha is actually fair and it's not really P2W at all. But the grind is way too much (and I don't like the weeklies). I always hear everyone saying how good this game is, and then I download it to see if anything changed since the last time I played it and nope. It's the same boring gameplay, the same events where you whack away at a boss for 5 minutes, the same gacha shit where I spend most of my time trying to figure out what I need to upgrade and how to get the materials.

Mario Kart Tour is the only good mobile game Nintendo's put out IMO. Normal MK gameplay and a basic and simple upgrade system for characters and gear. Could do without the gacha shit there too but at least I can pay $5 a month to not have to deal with it.

Nothing.
It's by far the best gacha game there is.
Players get over 300 rolls every month on top of a lot other things and tons of free rolls bound to specific banners (like 100 rolls for Monster Hunter).
It also has by far the best percentages on top of an extremely player-friendly pity system.
Also every few month player get any 5* of their choice basically for free.
Also there is no powercreep, since it's a co-op game and old and low-rarity characters regularly get buffed to be the strongest units in the game.
It's THE MOST GENEROUS and f2p game out there.
Kind of sad that so many players always complain about how scummy and jewish gacha games are, but then once a game comes along that doesn't have any of these problem, it's still hated on for no reason.

Hes fun and visually stimulating with the ability to be punishing if players are totally negligent of mechanics. For the most part hes really easy, but i think hes roughly where our bosses should be tuned for a mobile game.

My biggest complaint is the lack of certain materials necessary for building a usable character. Twinkling sand but most Champion's Testament's are super limited and you need multiple to build any 5-star. I have like a dozen 5-star characters sitting at 40 MC. Which works against the most fun point of the game which is getting new characters to use.

Yes, this shit killed all the momentum this game had from launch, especially during first Christmas and New Year’s. It’s hard to believe it took us until the FEH event to start getting big quality of life features like wyrmprints removed from gacha.
