Just got a complete in box copy of maximum carnage yesterday, so I'm currently playing through that. I've also got golden axe 1 and space harrier 2 coming in the mail, so I'm excited to sink my teeth into that.
I'm so glad I started collecting genesis games recently. The games are all relatively cheap, except a few (though, some like truxton shouldn't be nearly as high, not because it's bad, but because it's not very rare), so it's a nice console to get good games for.

I'd say that's pretty great user, I'm glad you're enjoying an awesome section of history for video games. Where do you usually go to find cheaper games? I've been visiting flea markets and trying my luck at ebay auctions, though prices often get inflated there. Craigslist is also a bust in my city.

That market's basically dried up here in Portugal, just five years ago you would still find deals in flea markets and there were still retro gaming stores around. Now the online shit basically ate up the whole thing, which makes it harder to find gullible idiots selling rare cartridges in the middle sports titles. But our equivalent to your craigslist, called OLX still works for the most part. Recently though, it came to my attention that facebook seemed to opened up a marketplace for people to sell their shit, so I'm betting further dummies, boomers and moms that will start selling their kids shit there, so I'm vigilant, already seeing signs that might just be the last retro goldmine before entropy.
By the way, here's a pro-tip, Portugal was one of the very few countries where the Saturn sold very well, so if you want a 50Hz one you might just stumble upon one on the ground when walking in the streets. We're overflowing with them.
