Personally I think Die-hard must have been at death stranding ground zero and was completely deformed by the accident. Probably his face is being held only by that mask but at the same time the character is hidden behind it, which can symbolize a secret agenda. He is also a character written and developed with a lot of charisma. He is also a character written and developed with a lot of charisma. Even when he's Sam's boss, he treats him with affection and always shows a kind of concern for him.
I would be the last to think that he has some secret scheme against me or that he only sees me as the means to a greater end, the reconstructivism. In that sense the character radiates the same good aura as Obama during his first term, especially for the U.S. working class and third-world countries, who saw him as "the promised american dove."

You're right about the blinks, but they're tremendously annoying. One possible idea is that they are to edit certain fragments of the gameplay with a tremendous amount of spoilers. I'm not saying you're wrong, we're talking about HK, but I really wouldn't want the camera to be a BT. It doesn't feel right in a sense. But we'll have to wait and see.
