I hate how Sluggers on the Wii felt like such a gigantic downgrade from the absolute kino the Gamecube version was.
Not even hating on the motion gimmick that hard, I'm talking as a whole. The Gamecube sluggers is polished to Hell and back, the Wii one, while it has more characters, it is really rough side to side. Every menu in the Gamecube Slugger was amazing, the story mode based, the visual design of everything was really great. The Wii lacks all of that.

I was really fond of the Mario Strikers games on GC and Wii. Especially the sequel, there is no feeling close to the panic you feel during a sudden death when a fully charged white ball is getting sent to your opponent's Donkey Kong at the middle of the field
