Some games let you do it, such as COM3D2 and VR Kanojo. Some games, pretty much usually only Unity games render the game THREE TIMES (each eye and the monitor) and don't let you turn off the mirror

I'm also looking to pick up the Rift S maybe for Black Friday or Christmas, only because HTC and Valve don't really offer anything for mid-range. I'm looking at Cosmos, but its $700.

I'm just waiting for mine to come in tomorrow but the great thing is that I already have plenty of games that have VR support like Elite and Everspace.

Yeah, definitely looking forward to those in VR. There should be a bunch of free stuff on both Oculus and Steam like The Lab, to mess around with before dropping money on VR only games.

I'm already on Steam downloading a bunch of free stuff. I think I will end up picking up Beat Saber and Gorn for sure though.

The vast majority of VR games are short as fuck and overpriced. Unless you like sim racing or planes its not worth it

Arizona Sunshine is good if you want to have some fun shooting zombies.

Robinson The Journey is a fun Puzzle Exploration game by CryTek with dinosaurs, kinda like Portal but less about Platforming and more about Puzzles.

Moss is pretty good, but it's short, like 4-5 hours for the first "Episode".

Star Trek Bridge Commander if you ever wanted to command a space ship in Star Trek.

Tethered if you want to play a Black & White kinda game.

Dreadhalls for a tense Dungeon Crawler/Horror game.

Lunar Flight is a pretty cool Lunar Lander Sim with missions, it also got Mars missions and the likes, you usually have to go places and land to pick up stuff, bring it somewhere else etc. It has recently gotten Touch support.

Hellblade is a fun game in VR, although it ain't exactly very complicated, there's some fighting and puzzle solving in a Norse mythological world.

Obduction if you like tough Puzzle games by the people who made Myst with great World Building and a Sci-Fi backstory.

The Solus Project you land on a lonely planet and need to survive and discover shit. It's kind of a Survival game where you have to find caves and combine items and shit with exploration on an alien planet with a dead alien civilization.

Kona is a cool Exploration Adventure game but the VR port is a bit ehh...

Brass Tactics gotta be the best RTS I've tried in VR.

Robo Recall can be some fun to shoot robots.

Lucky's Tale/Edge of Nowhere are Meh 3D Platformers, but playable enough.

Elite Dangerous/Euro Truck Sim 2/Project CARS, Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally, IL-2 Sturmovik, DCS World, XPlane 11 etc. are good if you are into Sim stuff and have Wheel+Pedals or HOTAS Setup and you can have hundreds of hours of fun with them.

Vox has bot right? Blade and Sorcery is of course just a sandbox, mostly will get it for the workshop mods.

-Pavlov for shooters, plays like Cs (you have to manually pull the bolt which is cool)
-Tales of Glory is VR Mount and Blade. Still in beta (no campaign, etc.), but you can still start battles and issue commands to soldiers. The free demo will show you how it works.

Campaign was released awhile ago, literally ripped from Mount and Blades.

I refuse to purchase VR until they make a standalone headset with perfect tracking, 144FPS and around 2-3k resolution per eye.
Anything else I see myself using it a few times and then letting it collect dust. I don't think VR will reach that till another 5 or more years though.

Is the Odyssey Plus gonna handicap my tracking too much in any particular games? People on youtube seem to be having an alright time with wmr but I'm not sure if there's some specific games that you get absolutely cucked because of it.
