Run by power tripping 12 year olds that use the servers as their personal chatrooms and cliques. I'm older than 99% of this board and don't miss community at all, and it's nearly impossible to get banned in modern games unless you're going "kys nigger jew" every other sentence

the thing is, matchmaking should in theory allow all the different groups to find the servers they want
it's just that the devs who implement it don't get this and instead try to force one way of playing the game

matchmaking wouldn't be so bad if you stayed with the same people after the match by default, dedicated servers were given full support alongside the MM system, and reports weren't a thing

In 25 years of playing fps games I think I've seen a grand total of 3 servers admits. One in red orchestra 2, once in 1.6 and once in source (but the guy was a regular player so it kinda doesn't count). I've never experienced any of this administration abuse.
