Unless you're a fucking bamboon your going to want to use a dpad for retro gaming. a dualshock is effectively a SNES controller with two extra bumpers and two joysticks. this makes retrogaming closer to how god intended and even better with the godly dpad while with an xbox/switch pro controller your hand gotta play that shit lopsided.


4. Literally everyone agrees ds4 is the best gamepad for fighting games.

6. For FPS or 3D games it works and it works well, I don't understand the common conception of an xbox layout being objectively better for 3d games. Nothing about having a shit dpad and swapping the buttons and the joysticks makes it more enjoyable for playing 3d games. You can play 3d games with a dualshock just fine unless you're just used to an xbox.

7. basically the best overall choice for PC gaming and emulating especially because of how versatile it is at multiple types of games

I really like the DS4 but it needs to dump the touchpad, the llightbar, and get better Start and Select buttons. Share button is shit.
