After playing the new Link's Awakening remake, I really want to see these games remade in the same style.

I don't care what you want. Fuck off.
Why
I honestly would pay nintendo $60 for each one if they put them on switch, even if they are direct ports.
NINTENDO
Because it's cute.
Now that's just retarded. They're going to be added to the gameboy app for switch online next year anyway.
U gon post this every day faggot?
Will they also be overpriced and run like shit
i get the sneaking suspicion nintendo hates these games becomes of capcom.
please don't diddle these games, they're the best in the series
Would have been so great to have those and Link's Awakening on one cart for $60
Why? Modern AAA games are worse than these games in every conceivable way and people pay that price for them. Nobody complains about Death Stranding being $60 despite being nothing but a fedex simulator, or FF7 remake being $60 despite it being a game that literally plays itself from start to finish.
Put them on one cartridge and let players choose which one to play first on their save file. After they beat it, they unlock the other game on that save file. That solves the massive pain of going back and forth with the passwords.
Why not want a new game instead?
Why? Because I wanted to play all 3 games, why else, just one was too short and I wanted more
Same. Also bring back chamber dungeons.
>both games on one cart, you choose what story to play first
>finish one and then start the other
>when you complete the full game and beat Ganon it unlocks some or all of the rooms from LA to add to chamber dungeons and a whole new set of challenges
>funko pop
Fuck no
These are two of my least favorite Zelda games. They don’t feel like Zelda games and I thought they were a chore to play through. It’s easy to get lost because the games aren’t very intuitive. The dungeons are a boring drag. If I remember, the final boss or bosses had a difficulty spike (might have just been the Gannon fight, it’s been so long). I find it hard to believe anybody seriously likes them better than LA. Minish Cap, also made by Capcom, was much better and actually feels more like a Zelda game. Nintendo hired all those guys from Capcom for the Zelda team anyways so I’m not saying they’re not canon. I’m just saying they’re not among my favorites. I would welcome a remake using the LA engine though
kys tranny faggot
just release the third cancelled oracle game so everyone wins jeesh
Only if they make a third game as part of the series like they originally intended.
Nintendo hired all the Flagship guys from Capcom who made the the Oracle games and the Minish Cap. They’re part of the Zelda development team. They worked on all the games but I would imagine they primarily worked on the portable titles. The producer of Skyward Sword was one of those Capcom Flasgship guys and produced the Minish Cap if I remember
>paying $60 for a gameboy remake again...TWICE
>The green one
What was it going to be anyways?
>wanting Oracles sullied by Funko Pop artstyle
You disgust me. Also, the season mechanics would have to be changed slightly, because each zone's preset seasons could NOT be done in the 'borderless' style that nu-Awakening uses. You'd need either harder barriers between zones - door or gates, basically - or you'd have to have artwork for every single possible season transition in every single zone. Also, the resetting of seasons when you leave a zone where you altered the season to the non-default one would have to be changed too. Really, Oracle of Season's mechanics rely heavily on the compromises that its now-"retro" graphics forced the developers to make. There was no issue in transitioning from snow-covered trees to dry-summer trees, you just went from one screen to another. That's it. It was a simpler time, and the game was better for it.
Not every single fucking game needs state-of-the-art 3D graphics. Some BENEFIT from 2S pixel-based graphics. This is why 2D handheld Zelda games and 3D console Zelda games should be kept fucking separate. Both styles have value, and intermixing them diminishes both.
Hidemaro Fujibayashi who directed the all the Capcom Zelda games is the director of Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild
Strange opinion. I don’t respect it.
amen
I just want ocarina of time remade in the minish cap 2d style.
From: zelda.gamepedia.com
>The Chapter of Power had a season theme, featuring the Rod of Seasons to alter the four seasons and solve puzzles.
The Chapter of Wisdom featured an item called the Magic Paintbrush which was to be used to solve color-themed puzzles.
The Chapter of Courage was to have a theme of time, using morning, noon, evening and night to solve puzzles.
So basically, unless you are super excited for tile-repainting mechanics, the third game deserved to be shelved. Of course, if a new Oracles game were to be made, nobody says that we HAVE to follow the original plans for it. It could easily be something else. Maybe memory? Go inside certain character's heads and interact with their minds/memories/dreams; a la Psychonauts? It just has to be wisdom themed, as that is the only thing worth retaining in my opinion.
Or, hell, maybe have the Splatoon team work on the paintbrush mechanics and actually make them less boring than just 'repaint tiles to solve puzzles'.
>"It's a FUnkO POP XDXD"
Fuck off
morning noon evening and night sounds so much better than past and present
If they did I would only pay 60 for both games together.
>I really want to see these games remade in the same style.
I don't
Nah, too simple.
Morning, noon, and night AND past and present? Now that's better.
>"B-but I LIKE beady black soulless eyes!"
so you can cheat on the tree again?
>tfw never ever finished ages
>got to last boss and couldnt beat it
>ruins two entire games
Nothing personal, kid.
But if they DID do all that, it would be a pretty good demonstration of genuine soul.
I'm NOT defending the art style at all.
I would kill for Seasons and Ages to be remade with the third and fourth game added in.
Please do good if you lump them into one game
You would never get all 4 together. But yo ucould get 1+2 and 3+4.
I'd be down for that. My main fear would be the games being kneecapped or most of it just being asset flips without much change.
Imagine a 3D remake for FSA and Minish Cap.
They hated them so much they stole the director and made him the lead director of the important zelda games
Hypothetically, making it all one game would honestly be an improved experience. Basically:
>you have to buy both, and if you have both they're treated as the same game
>you pick which game you'd like to start, Oracles or Seasons
>rather than doing the password bullshit for NG+ and NG++, you can go straight into Ages/Seasons upon completing whichever you started first, and same for NG++
>still can go back to original game and NG+ at any time, and maybe with certain secrets (remember, that was a key selling point) you can bring in items from the counterpart game
>dungeons and bosses in NG++ are "remixed" to make items from counterpart games
>only time travel and season changing mechanics stay in their intended games, everything else is transferable with the right secrets
And I say this because while I liked the NG+ stuff, the secrets were fucking underwelming.
*make items from counterpart games relevant
Excuse me.
I just want another minish cap style zelda. Not a sequel, but in that style.
>Not every single fucking game needs state-of-the-art 3D graphics. Some BENEFIT from 2S pixel-based graphics. This is why 2D handheld Zelda games and 3D console Zelda games should be kept fucking separate. Both styles have value, and intermixing them diminishes both.
Thank you.
Those games were fucking raw, I don't know how they expected children to ever beat them
me too. they already have the engine and many assets. and the art style is great. but then again dins rocking body I think should be seen in more than just game case art.
what should it be called?
>The Legend of Zelda: Oracles of Seasons and Ages
These stupid fucking rumors are the stupidest shit, Nintendo somehow literally despises every company they commission to do shit for them quite amazing
>Went out of my way to get Dmitri or Ricky after having this fat faggot forced down my throat on my first playthrough
NEVER
AGAIN
