I think mikos > tokugawa is the best start, but then I don't know if I want to get muskets or go right for kenshin. yuzumi is pretty good for cheesing harder fights, but if I invade muskets then old man country will get taken over if I don't fight them simultaneously which would be difficult that early in the game. on the other hand going for uesugi right away gets kenshin off your back, but then I would want to immediately invade takeda to stop them from taking hojo.
the first time I played I just let mori take akashi but that screwd me out of capturing the one eye commanders.

In the run I just did, I went for Tanegashima then Akashi as soon as I finished, and Mouri didn't take them.

Leazus has ninja girl who is pretty bad, cannon girl is pretty good (and gives you a free unit once you hit 7/7), and the knight chick is beast.

did you have much trouble with kenshin cockblocking you? I also forgot how annoying it is fighting akashi with all the forced losses, but I guess it's useful for clearing senhime.
