QLC isn't all that common, the only QLC SSD worth a damn is the Intel 660p. (860 QVO is stuck to SATA and overpriced.)

Ryzen 2000 is good enough for gaming on a budget. Hell, I'm pretty sure most PC gaymers on this board are still using Haswell/Broadwell CPUs.

In reality, the PC is a platform best used for playing very specific games like Starcraft or Diablo, and perhaps optimized multiplayer like Half-Life 2; that is, games which work very well on the platform and benefit from the enhanced graphics and controls. Likewise, consoles are great for local multiplayer games and shorter experiences like platformers which don’t need a PC environment to play well. Finding a happy balance between both will yield the overall greatest outcome, but you retards will never learn, so I’ll just continue to sit back and laugh while you fling poo over discussions of tinker toys.

SSDs are for fucking everything, people just don't store shit there, because HDDs still win in dollar value per gigabyte. If anything those who use SSDs for storage will have longer lasting SSDs as they won't need to constantly use the stored data, making the cycle limit closer. Either way modern SSDs can reliably hold override their entire storage capacity every day for a decade, failures are inevitable, sure, just like with HDDs, the TBW isnt an issue anymore
