Ace Attorney literally has an unchanging narrative, regardless of what you do, according to your words, its just a book, and Fate isn't since it has different endings based on your choices.
Ace Attorney is just a VN where you do some puzzle solving as opposed to make choices that change the narrative, its no more of a game than any other VN.
