Bitterblack isles, shivering isles and iceborne

The Old Hunters

You mean free DLC, right? There has never been a DLC worth paying actual money for.

Probably Japanese voices for BOTW.

extra stinky mods for fartboys 4: this time it’s a bit whiffy

Based

Weebs like this should just drop dead already

All the free shit for Shovel Knight.

Wrath of the Lamb.

I've never played a single DLC in my life.

WHY do people love it so much? I thought it felt like the most unfinished and rushed out of every DLC in NV. It is very pretty, sure, but like the quest design and everything about it just screamed rush job. I did not enjoy it at all. I like it more than Lonesome Road, but that's about it.

Mario Kart 8's 12.99 DLC got you 16 tracks, 6 characters, karts, and skins.

Pretty based.
I miss original Isaac, there was a straight forwardness to it that got lost in Rebirth. Getting WOTL for the first time was so exciting because so much opened up, and there were so many new and exciting (and hard) things.

The Old Hunters for improving an already very good game.
The Taken King for making an ok game into a very good one.

Shivering Isles.. home...

The Shivering Isles

Better than the main game

Do you consider the shivering isles dlc

Tekken Tag 2 free downloadable characters.
All paid DLC's are cancer that is killing vidya, back then you used to unlock characters and other stuff as you progressed, now it's all pay the base rushed game and then the countless other stuff that should have been in the first place.

Same

You should actually kill yourself

Tie between HAL's free DLC for Kirby: Star Allies and pic related.

Fable The lost chapters.
If you count that as DLC.

The Ringed City of Dark Souls 3. Just big enough to warrant being its own DLC, and had some great bosses and segments

this

Mass Effect 2 Lair of the Shadow Broker

This
Crown of the Sunken King is pretty great too.
I haven't gotten to play much but I'm loving Banjo-Kazooie so far.

Far Harbor or The Lost and Damned / The Ballad of Gay Tony

brood war and lord of destruction

For me, it’s Dead Money

Shivering Isles

The free ones.

>WHY do people love it so much?
I think because it has the biggest map. People are superficial like that.
based

Oh wait, no OWB has the biggest map, and usually that is the most liked. Anyway Dead Money is still the best and most different from the main game.

Blood and Wine for Witcher 3. Whole new map, whole new upgrade mechanic, new enemies, new story.

Whats the difference between something like a DLC and an Expansion nowadays?

Cringe

>Who is Joshua Graham.

Dead Money and OWB are both fantastic for very different reasons. I do think Dead Money is the best dlc.

Not a dlc but the zero hour expansion was kino

Gods & Kings and Brave New World took Civilization V from good to possibly my favorite 4X game. I'm inclined to say those two because they elevated the base game.
Other than that,
>Shivering Isles
>Artorias of the Abyss
>Bitterblack Isle
>The Old Hunters
are all superb.

>Shovel Knight Treasure Trove
>Jetstream Sam in Revengeance
>Kirby Star Allies Wave 3
>Tekken Tag 2's dozen free characters
>any fighting game character DLC that I ended up maining (Broly, Marduk, etc.)

the free ones

Better fucking powers too

>>Jetstream Sam in Revengeance
>seventeen bucks for a single mission that combines all the most annoying parts of the base game
Nice try Konami.

Does it count if its an expansion pack pretending to be DLC?

Torna

I downloaded Sam & Wolf for free. They were made free some time after launch.

>expansion pack
>DLC
same shit

The bosses I agree with, but the only good segment is the Dreg Heap. The Ringed City Streets are literally "here have five of the biggest enemies in the game supported by ranged attackers who can hit you halfway across the map without needing line of sight", and then comes the shit swamp where the level designer just went home to fuck his boss' wife.

Kingdom hearts 2 adding 7 new bosses, a dungeon and a boss gauntlet, puzzle pieces, recolors, a new form, mushroom 13 and more is pretty cool

>PS2 game
>DLC
user, are you okay?

That was a re-release, not DLC.

Kill yourself Smashfag

DLC is small stuff like new item(s), one or two new missions or something like character skins.

Expansion is just that, an expansion. New areas, many new quests, items, characters and so on.

That's my interpretation at least.

Torna

It's the same fucking thing anons. The new game is downloadable and it adds additional content so it fucking counts, don't give me your stupid semantics bullshit

Attached: 1544625630767.jpg (1024x923, 162K)

Torna in Xenoblade 2

Came here to say this. Dead Money was absolutely astounding. I am not sure why it wasn't the last on to release.

>It's the same fucking thing anons
DLC = Downloadable Content

it's a specific form of additional content for a game. If this were DLC, it would be like 10 bucks and downloaded off the internet. But it was a full-priced re-release of the game

>buy game for forty bucks
>buy game again for forty bucks but this time with slightly more stuff
>is the same as
>buy game for forty bucks
>buy add-on for fifteen
Okay user. Whatever you say, user.

It's additional content anons, they just didn't have the tech for it back then. That's what i meant and you know i did.
The fact they're doing DLC like this for 3 shows it is basically DLC before DLC.

In essence it's the same minus the way of release/price which yes is different

MK8, plague of shadows, or oblivion's horse armor

No, user. The OP is talking about DLC, not "DLC before DLC" otherwise, we could talk about how Brood War is the "BEST" DLC, despite being an expansion.

But it isn't DLC. It's an expansion.
Final Mix isn't DLC, it's a re-release
and your argument is flawed by your own logic, because III isn't getting a "final mix" it's getting "ReMind"

Probably Old World Blues for Fallout New Vegas. I’m a sucker for sci-fi. Mothership Zeta is kinda sorta up there, too, but it’s been years since I last went through it and my opinion may have changed since.
I can’t really think of any other games with DLC worth mentioning.
