Post full specs please.
If you wanna be safe, stick with pre-2007 games and emulators up to N64 / GBA.

DOOM 1-2, Duke3D, Blood, everything by Croteam and most things by Valve are good to have.

literally anything before 2005, including emulated consoles

I've got a ThinkPad T580. Gpu is an Nvidia MX150.

Make sure you got the game performance driver for your work station gpu.

Give it to me straight bros, does he have a chance?

You can legit play anything on the market at the moment, as long as you don't crank up the settings to sky-high levels.
Got an Acer Nitro5 with i5-8250U + MX150 + 20GB DDR4 myself, and it manages most pre-2015 titles well at 1080p, and just about anything at 720p. I tend to settle for 900p for a nice middleground of quality, performance and thermals, though.

Try at least The Talos Principle, Serious Sam 3, Deep Rock Galactic, Killing Floor 1-2, FF Type 0, FEAR 1, and any VALVE game.
I also managed to get Zelda:BotW run steady 30fps on CEMU.

ANDREW YANG IS A WHITE WORSHIPING CHARLIE CHAN

pretty much everything of note that came out prior to 2008 can run on a modern 200$ laptop, but especially get yourself snes, gba, and psx emulators

It's like watching that one friend go over to the table you know he's not welcome at during lunch.

Anyone have experience with those external gpu enclosures? At some point I plan on replacing my 970 in my desktop and transitioning it to an external gpu.

I admire you so much!

im not even american but i hope so, you guys really need a change

Cave Story

You ever just talk to the weird kid a couple times because you didn't want to be a total asshole and he fucking sits down at your lunch table acting like he's been your best friend for years? This is what its like talking to these people.
