Fuck off, they are making a new Bomberman game
S need.
fifth consecutive year of profit record, keep seething LMAO
Abusing people's gambling issues is profitable, we know.
Konami shills really working overtime today. I count five Kojima hate threads in the catalog.
>Makes more money than ever
>Grave
kek
You can die in more than just a literal sense.
aren't they publishing danganronpa 4
Fuck off with your corporate drama.
Fuck Konami.
Fuck Kojima.
Fuck Sony.
Fuck (You).
seethe more nerd
I side with Konami.
I once worked with Kojima and he raped me with both his penis.
>owns some of my favorite IP
>were my favorite dev until they stopped
>nothing they did personally affected me other than they stopped making games
>everything they did was for the company
>signs they might actually start making games again
>listening to developers talk about bomberman or metal gear survive you can tell they have passion but lack the budget
>eventually konami will give them a budget
>they will make one good game but nobody will buy it cause everyone sucks kojima's dick and they wronged him
>they'll immediately stop making games again
Konami did nothing wrong in my eyes. Kojima is just a fucking faggot scum that is ruining this industry and nearly killed a company that can provide me a lot of joy. Kojima hasn't given me any joy since Boktai and basically killed off my favorite franchise of games by shoehorning castlevania's name into lords of shadow
>that is ruining this industry
How?
>nearly killed a company that can provide me a lot of joy
Again, how?
>Yea Forums has been getting increasingly mad at Kojima ever since he decided to avoid making MGSV yet another movie
>now they consider him worse than SJWs
This is why I can't wait until the Internet is completely, fully regulated by the government, people like the ones who lurk in Yea Forums don't deserve to have their own website to share opinions.
Shutting down Yea Forums will be good news for the internet everywhere.
>Yea Forums is one person
So...this is the power of Konami shills....woah
>metal gear survive you can tell they have passion but lack the budget
lmao the game where the devs literally put in Fuck Konami easter eggs? Sure was a passion product huh?
Yea Forums has many people, all of which are worthless and do not deserve their own website.
Ideally Yea Forums, Reddit, Resetera and all social media would be shut down.
>metal gear survive you can tell they have passion but lack the budget
Yeah, an asset flip of MGSV with zombies and a much bigger focus on grinding.
Such passion.
Thank god it flopped despite all the shilling you made.
Yes there is also a hidden message by the developers thanking people for playing and that they hope they enjoy it
> kjp
What does it mean?
Kojima Productions.
There's also these not so subtle lines of dialogue that clearly talk about the state of Kojipro during Survive's development.
Kojima Productions
That's what passion is retard. Imagine being in their shoes. You love Metal Gear and you are tasked with making the next game and given no budget at all. Everybody is going to be at your throats simply for making the game and you have nothing to deal with the situation. Who would be the bad guy putting you in that place? It'd be Konami.
They aren't bad for making a new game they simply made a wrong move by not giving them enough money. And most likely they didn't give them the money because of how the last Metal Gear project went. Hundreds of millions of dollars into a game that wasn't even finished and wouldn't have as high of margins as their mobile games.
Kojima knew he was fired before the game was finished and yes he was in the right for trying to get the cash to finish his last game but he fucked everyone left at the company after him. He knowingly did that.
But in the eyes of the developers they can't say Kojima did this to them. After all he made their favorite game series, the games they've dreamed about working on. So they go to the next best thing with their insults, Konami.
Reminder these are the same shills spamming Kojima hate threads now. Since they lost their precious MGS series to death, all they have left is rage towards its former director.
>hundreds of millions
What?
It was 80 million, and MGSV made 180 million on launch day alone.
>But in the eyes of the developers they can't say Kojima did this to them
This wasn't a public statement though. This was a hidden easter egg some disgruntled employees put in the game hoping the Konami nip jews wouldn't detect them. I know you try hard to make Kojima look like the villain here but it was Konami's fault that both MGSV was unfinished and Survive being grindy unplayable turd.
No, a passion project is making a game that you REALLY want to make, that you've always wanted to make our of your own ambition.
You unironically think the developers of Metal Gear wanted to make a zombie survival grindfest made up entirely of reused assets from the previous game?
The actual game might have been 80 million but they built the entire engine for that game.
>MGS1, 2 and 3
>shit movies with shit gameplay
>MGS4
>literal movie
>MGS Rising
>such a clusterfuck it got cancelled
>PW and MGSV
>base building and grinding for no reason at all in a stealth game
I don't know why would you shit on Kojima but praise the devs, it's obvious no one in the studio has talent beyond Shinkawa.
The 80 million is also the development of Fox Engine included. Which really puts the numbers in a completely different light. 80 million for Fox Engine which Konami can use for all its future titles + GZ + TPP. It really wasn't that unreasonable. Witcher 3 cost the same and it was on an ancient engine and also on two less platforms. They probably recouped most of that 80m investment by just selling Ground Zeroes separately.
They didn't make the engine specifically for MGSV.
The Fox Engine was supposed to be Konami's Frostbite, an engine to use in all their Triple A games, that's why on top of MGSV there was also Silent Hills, and why every PES since 2014 uses it.
No. There was no distinction between the two budget wise. KojiPro were developing Fox Engine alongside the game. You can spot improvements done to the engine going from GZ to TPP.
They built the engine to be used for all their games for the foreseeable future.
Yeah and I can tell you EA would kill for an engine like Fox Engine right now. They've probably invested more in Frostbite and no EA dev outside of DICE even wants to use it since it's supposedly useless for third-person games.
Devs mostly do grunt work with little to no decision on what actually gets put in the game. They are told do X and they do X.
The games released were technically sound so you can't fault them. Bad gameplay, design, and story you can put on the writer, producer, and director. Which crazy thing fits what Kojima did.

Fuck off.
Why? I'm playing the new Castlevania, and it's pretty damn fun. They have a new Silent Hill and a new Metal Gear in development, according to rumours. Plus of course Bomberman. I look forward to seeing what they unveil over the next year.
new castlevania?
the phone one?
so this Is true power, konami Chad's sure are strong
>They have a new Silent Hill and a new Metal Gear in development, according to rumours
This is the height of shill cope
Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls was announced at TGS. And it looks good
Hello fellow bemanifriend
Yea. I downloaded the APK and said yes to the "Are you Canadian?" prompt. It plays pretty well. The writing is good. The music is great. Vibe-wise, it almost reminds me of a Prinny game. The main issues is apparently there's this bizarre grind wall once you get past Chapter 3. Some have suggested that it's designed to stall people since the game is only in Soft Launch status. Others argue it could be greed to force players to grind and/or do the gacha stuff. But we'll have to see.
Oh, it supports controllers, too, which is neat for people who don't like touchscreen controls.
Fairly solid rumour I've heard is that a new Silent Hill is in development at an unknown third party developer. This is why Konami have been brushing up the SH trademark in various countries and in some cases filing entirely new ones.
Wish Hudson Soft wasn't bought out by these yakuza faggots.
Technically it was announced a few years ago and had a beta a while back. That beta was not particularly well received. It seems like they went back to the drawing board a bit, and they've soft-launched the finished version in Canada. You can play it right now on Android if you download the APK. International release is coming soon.
>Failed at any real business careers so he becomes a shareholder in a casino company masquerading as a Video Games company.
>Desperate to be making billions but forced to sit at the millionaire's table.
>Everyone else has a nicer business card than him at dinner parties.
>Might actually be more rich than half the room but everyone looks down on him anyway because his personality is shit.
>Wife and family do not get along with him either and only care about his money because that's the only thing about him that's worth anything.
Imagine being a shareholder for an entertainment company that's just in it for the money, lol. Imagine how bad your life must be. Knowing you'll never make it in Wall Street, big real estate or Silicon Valley, etc.
I've played the new version and compared it to beta footage from 2018, and I think it's a case of refining the overall vibe and flow of the game. Attacks are punchier and have more feedback. The visuals were improved. It looks like the story was redone somewhat, too. Core gamefeel is the different between a shit game of this genre and a decent one.
>doing better than ever
>starting to make games again
>grave
lel, you kojima cocksuckers are hilarious
Where are those games?
The new Castlevania soft-launched literally yesterday.
>starting to make games again
Shill lies
Mobile shit? Then kys

Based Konami milking those ugly japs.
Konami is doing just fine, OP.
It just happens to not be a vidya company anymore.
