No. Not even close. Just factoring in basic shit that fundamentally changed Vidya like Wolf 3D, Doom, Tetris, Ultima, System Shock, Pong, Pac-Man, etc. Parasite Eve doesn't even scratch the top 500. Not to say it's bad, it's good. But it didn't add/change a damn thing about Vidya.

I never understood why this game got so many bad reviews. Most of the scores were like 6/10's with a shit ton of stupid complaints... The only complaint anybody could have about this game is that it was short and that's it. Every other aspect was excellent.

The gameplay was mindnumbingly slow trash even by 1998 standards. There's a reason why people who like this game only talk about atmosphere and waifu shit and never the fact that you spend more time running around in circles while the ATB gauge refills than you spend actually fighting.
